I thought that they were professional, knowledgeable, and congenial. They were nice to chat with. They did excellent work even coming up with specialized ideas for areas that needed it. If possible, I would like to give an A+++.

Was told that I was looking at about $300.00 for job. They wanted over $700 to install 2 wall sconces which would be 18" from an existing power source. Just too expensive. Cancelled job.

Top quality and excellent standards. Matt & Gary paid attention to all the little details and problem solved a couple of mission critical puzzlers. Conscientious and anticipated all of my concerns. I will definitely rehire for kitchen remodel and outdoor landscaping.

Everything went well. The staff was a little late coming out b/c of another project that day, but otherwise they were helpful and completed task right away.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Bolt was able to send a technician the next business day. On time with a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to let me know he was en route. Definitely would use Bolt again for any electrical needs. Highly recommended!

He was unable to find the improper wiring in the attic, but the other 2 jobs were completed well.

Short version: They ALL did a great job. All the way from the 1st call to when they left after the job was done. Long version. I had 2 AC guys out and both said there was a short in the low voltage wire running between the upstairs air handler. One AC company quoted me $1,500 to do the job. YIKES. That seemed high...very high. The 2nd AC guy said he doesn't pull wire and I needed to find an electrician to do that job and then he would return after the new wire was ran. Since our upstairs AC has been out for literally 5 days we needed someone ASAP. So, I went on Angie's List and I filled out the form and less than 2 minutes after I submitted the form my phone rang. It was Stephanie from Bolt Electricity. I told her our dilemma and much to my surprise she scheduled their rep, Daniel, to come out here between 10am - 1PM. He got here around 11:00AM. I showed him what was needed, we discussed some options. He reviewed the situation and gave me a quote. A quote that made me nearly fall out of my chair. I said yes and when could he get someone out here to run the wires? He called their scheduler and they understood our situation, rearranged some jobs and said they could get two guys out here in a few hours. WOW. Almost fell out of my chair a 2nd time. Those two very polite and professional techs (Will and Matt) came right on time and got to work. And they did a fantastic job. And before they started to put the wire in the conduit, they called me out there and explained what they wanted to do and to get my approval. They then went back to work and finished up. Ok, let me wrap this up. They did a fantastic job, the work looks great and my wife and I could not be happier! Sorry about the gushing but when your AC is out in the summer in AZ and it gets fixed...well, you understand. Everyone at Bolt Electric treated us like we matter and did a fantastic job.

He went meticulously through all possibilities and found the problem and corrected it.

Finished well under expected time. Job looks good from the outside of the breakers, but of course until a breaker fails and/or a fire starts from an overloaded circuit (hopefully never), I won't really know how good the work is. That's a good reason to rely on well-rated electricians like Bolt.

We are very pleased with the service. Friendly and very responsive to our requests. Would definitely recommend to others - did a nice job, looks great, and left no mess behind.

Daniel was the electrician sent out. What a professional and knowledgeable young man! I showed him the items from our report and he did an outstanding job on all of them. He provided us an estimate before he started and repaired all issues quickly and neatly. He also gave us some ideas about other areas in the house. Dealing with the office staff was also a pleasant experience. We would definitely use Bolt again.

I contacted a tradesman because they are supposed to be highly qualified tradesman in their field. Ultimately it did get fixed but not without a large amount of disappointment. When I say fixed, that is only partially accurate. The original problem was not repaired. The break condition was not located, and I still have a loose connection somewhere which could arc or short. Instead the electrician had to install a new circuit to the jbox that serviced the switch and lights and some electrical outlets. And it was done at what I consider to be an obscene amount. In fact I struggled with allowing them to service my house. I won't go into detail so as not to imbue with personal observations, but I spoke with a 'manager' by phone after realizing the electrician could not locate the problem and then wanted to charge me for being unable to fix it or charge me even a larger amount than was reasonable to do so. And the argument that skilled tradesman should get paid well is only good when skilled tradesman are expert tradesmen. Now to be fair I should point, that after a discussion on the phone, they were willing to just accept what I spent through Angie's List and not do any other work (not initially, the person who called me said they wanted around $259, that was without any solution). That meant however I would have to find another electrician, and given the experience I had with them I had misgivings and just ended up paying the devil I knew. The bottom line is I don't recommend them and anyone not familiar with electrical in anyway not to use them.

Paid $99 for $200 voucher for the electrician to come fix landscape lightning. Electrician was unprofessional. He said it was a voltage problem and couldn't fix it. That was definitely not worth $200, biggest waste of my money. I do not recommend Bolt.

Very well. The electrician was pleasant, conscientious and efficient. Can't ask for more than that.

It was a great service call performed by a personable technician.

I was very pleased with the work - but mildly displeased with the price

Told to replace ceiling fan. Asked how much it would cost and eas told it was an additional $132. I paid $99 for $200 worth of service. I didn't reslize it cost $50 for every 5 minutes tgey were here. Had new ceiling fan, just couldnt justify paying another $132 for the installation when the offer stated that it was included. Service tech had a negative attitude. I would never recommend this company again. Service tech told me that because this was purchased on Angie's list, that was all i was entitled to. The offer stated installation of a ceiling fan was included in the offer. I dont tbink the service tech wanted to work. Either that or he wad taking advantage of the elderly handicap. This is outrageous.

He installed the outlet efficiently, but said he was not able to change the light bulb as he did not have a high enough ladder. (I had asked in my order that the electrician change a light bulb on a 14 foot ceiling.)

Bolt Electric was professional and quoted me a fair price. They did the work immediately, which was very helpful.

Daniel was on time for both the estimate & the work. He was very conscientious when deciding what ceiling cuts he needed to make, since we have no attic. I expected so much more dust and debris but Daniel created very little and he cleaned up afterward, even brushing the minute particles, with his fingers, located against the baseboard (that had been there for years) and vacuuming them up! Since Daniel estimated other work, we will be calling you soon! We installed the fan ourselves.

It went well. Was surprised at the cost though. I had paid up front 99 dollars for two hours of labor. He was here a couple of hours and charges me almost 700 dollars to hook up electric. I still think something wasn't right with the quote. I just woke up as I work very late and didn't ahve my bearings straight. IT is what it is.

They were here at the time stated and immediatle surveyed the situation and took care fo the concern.

It was great. The guy fixed it super quick, and explained to me how it worked, and if it happened again, what to do. Very nice guy. :)
