Banker Insulation

Contacted them for a bid on a small house in central Phoenix. Very nice gentleman did inspection, was on time, seemed professional. Said he's send a bid. Never heard from him again. Did not return my call or email. I understand this is a small house, and could not present a profitable job, but it would have been nice to know that up front, instead of wasting time.

I called for an estimate and spoke with a representative. I have a small job, explained what I needed and he said he could come out that afternoon. I was out of town and wouldn't be able to meet him. However, we agreed he could access the garage roof that needed insulation without me being home. He said he'd come out that day and email an estimate in a few days. I gave him my name, address, email address and phone number. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing.

Starting with the estimate the estimator was thorough in actually coming out and looking at the job and talking with me as to what my desires and needs were for the job. So the estimate was a true reflection of the cost. I also had contacted other insulators, but they sent me estimates without looking at the job. Their estimate would not have matched the final total because of the challenges of my older home. The estimator was courteous and professional. The crew was a little later than scheduled, but they called to say they were running late. They went right to work, and did a good job, keeping me informed of progress. They put down paper in the hall to keep from tracking dirt into my house. When they left the property and my house were clean and there was no insulation bits anywhere, even when I discovered that one of the soffit boards was missing. The staff was professional as well as the estimator. The supervisor came to check the work the next day, and also called to be sure we were happy with the job. I would hire them again, even tho they were not the lowest estimate I got.

I wanted a price for adding insulation to me attic. They called back twice and promised their field rep would conact me to set up a specific date and time. No one has ever called back.
