Baker’s Travertine Power Clean

An estimate was done after actually viewing the tiles, a lot of good information was shared and the price reasonable. The workers Travis, C.C. and Roy Were prompt, very personable and hard working. They were great with the cats in the house assuring they were safe. They worked all day and the floors turned out better than new. We were very impressed and promised not to wait so long to have it done next time. Thank you.

Very professional, hard-working crew. Our flagstone looks like new. Flagstone deteriorates over time and needs cleaning and sealing to maintain its useful life. Ray, Cody and Noah worked as a team for four days and cleaned up, leaving no mess. Kudos to Baker's. I recommend them highly. We have flagstone on four patios, pool deck and garden paths. they charged about $1.50 per square foot.

Perfect! the outcome turned out perfect! all the travertine floors are perfectly clean and lightly polished and they look brand new and they are 20 years old! I would definitely recommend this company for cleaning and polishing travertine. they do an outstanding job!

Looks very nice. Replaced a few stones for us, filled large holes, cleaned the deck and sealed it. We had questions about a few spots and they were very responsive. Would use again.

All aspects of the job were done in an efficient manner with obvious skill and desire to do a professional level job. Amy Baker came to the house, listened to my wife's explanation of the work she wanted done, gave suggestions, ascertained that my wife already knew how to care for the stone and rendered a detailed quote on the spot. The crew (Travis assisted by Kody, Reef and Mark) had difficulty getting their machine that was mounted on a trailer started but, after a trip to the hardware story, Travis got it going. While he was away the other three started on the bathrooms. He returned got the machine going and they all worked non-stop to finish up by five o'clock. The quote included painting some of the grout in the kitchen but after Travis test painted some spots in various shades we all agreed that the cleaned but unpainted grout looked the best so he cleaned the test paint off before it dried and removed the paint charge from the quote. My wife and I are throughly pleased with what was done, how it was done and the quality of the people who did it.

The Bakers were able to come out within just a few days of my call and spent a lot of time explaining the process and expected results. NO surprises. The crew lead by Ray were polite, responsive and helpful. The finished result is very pleasing and exactly as explained. Triple A to the Baker's .

They are the best! Professional and simply the best. I am repeat customer and I will keep returning. We had a leak on our bathroom few months ago. Restoration company scratched our travertine so they hired some "professional" company to remove scratches and polish it. When they arrived, they kept criticizing how our travertine look and how it's not shiny enough. I told them that Baker's Travertine did our floors and I am pretty happy with the look. They just ignored me. Well, after they finished our bathroom floor had a "orange peel" look and I did not like it. They said that's the best they can do so...... I let them go. I called Bakers Travertine and they got it right! Our travertine looks like a mirror and I feel as if I was walking on glass! They are simply the best. Tom and Amy know their stuff and when I called Tom about cleaning procedures he gave me his fantastic cleaning product he developed, pads, mop, booklet, all for free! If you want the best for your floors, you hire Baker's Travertine. Nuff said :)

Ray and the crew were exceptional. They were on time both days and went out of their way to assist us getting in and out of the house while they were working.

Summary - great customer service and work product! Had no issues working with Amy to obtain answers to my questions and a quote even though we live up in Sedona. Communication ahead of time was great -- even rec'd a call from the crew when they were 30 minutes out. The team worked hard all day long and were incredibly professional and polite. On their own, they decided to forego lunch and finish the project in one day instead of two...saving us money! Our floors look incredible and I would use Baker's Travertine again (and recommend to others)

We found Baker's by chance. I was at a gas station and their truck and trailer was their filling up. The gentlemen spent 10 min explaining the processes they do and he seemed very profession, so I took a card and gave a call. Amy Baker went into great detail over the phone about what they were able to do, so we decided to have an estimate done. Amy showed up and spent 90 min going over our project and answering every question. We decided to get the work done, but due too weather temps we had to wait since the products they use had to be at certain temp limits. I was extremely impressed by this because a shady company could have done the work and just left. Ray and Cody showed up and explained exactly what they would be doing and asked if we had any questions. They spent the entire day stripping and cleaning the slate. Tom(the owner) and Ray returned 3 days after the slate had time to dry and applied the sealer. We are completely satisfied and they made our project EXACTLY how we wanted in the first place. They saved our project from being a complete waste of money. We would HIGHLY recommend them for your project. We are simply amazed!!

The 2-3 guys who did the work over a 2 day period were excellent. Very meticulous and lots of attention to detail. Cleaned up beautifully and left the house and outside perfectly put together. The estimating process was not well done. The estimator made calculation errors at 2 occasions resulting in a $300 difference between the quoted price and the final bill. We paid the extra $300 but the fact of the errors detracted from the overall experience; customer shouldn't be accountable for contractor's inaccuracy. We wouldn't have paid the difference if the actual workers hadn't been so careful and competent.

Excellent work by Bakers.Had travertine floors in 2 previous houses and never had the floors refinished as well.No mess left behind and the 3 workers were professional and excellent at the refinish work.

First class from the estimate process to the final clean! We highly recommend Baker's Travertine Power Clean. The service staff was right on time, didn't cut any corners and were most professional and responsive. The owners are very informative and educated us of the properties of natural stone and how best to keep it looking good for years to come.

Fortunately there were no coatings and work began at the Master Bathroom, the most distant part of the work. The team worked tirelessly from 7am until 3:00pm without a break! the floors look fantastic. all the pitted tiles are repaired and the shower looks new. They even stained grout lines in some areas to blend with the tile! The final bill was over $700 less than the estimated cost. It was a pleasure doing business with honest, professionals like the Bakers and their team!

We had Bakers clean, buff, polish and seal our Travertine flooring two years ago in 2014. It was the first time that we have the floors done and Bakers did a great job. They asked how shiny we wanted it and polished it exactly how we requested. We were happy enough to have them back to spruce up most of the same area and they did another wonderful job. The crew was very professional, polite and very helpful with moving the furniture back into place. They give a discount when you have them back within two years which is very much appreciated. I would like for them to consider having a minimum cost of $500 instead of $750, to have them back just the do the high traffic area (i.e.: kitchen) occasionally when needed in the future. Thanks for a great job!

The crew was excellent! Very professional and the change is amazing! I had to leave my old dog in the house and they were so kind to her! I would highly recommend this company and will be calling them in a few years for regular maintenance for my travertine floors.
