+ 0 moreKitchen drain was backed up. Called and described the problem and they advised that it would be $79 service call which seemed reasonable. Technician showed up diagnosed the problem (clogged p trap) and said it would be $313 to fix it. As I had water running out of the cabinet onto the floor, I had no choice but to pay it. Technician was at my house 30 minutes. $626 per hour!!!??? Called to speak with the owner and left messages 4 times! No response. Finally reached a sales manager who said he would call back and never heard back from him. There are much better options in the valley. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!

+ 1 moreI had gotten to a point where both of my bathrooms were springing leaks and becoming unusable because of old polybutylene tubing. Many East Valley plumbing companies won't even consider re-piping a manufactured home. It's nasty, back-breaking work. After researching ABC on Angie's List and meeting with supervisor Rich for an estimate, I felt like I was in trustworthy hands and was being charged a reasonable price. Rich thoroughly explained the scope of the work and pricing details. (The price included showroom-grade lavatory faucets, kitchen faucet, and shower heads - not home center stuff. It did not include repairing holes cut in drywall, but you don't want plumbers doing that anyway.) By the end of the first day of work, I had a functional master bathroom again, and they finished everything up the next day.
Description of Work: Whole-house re-pipe, replacing polybutylene with PEX.

Description of Work: I had ABC out to fix the flange on the masterbath toilet. It's been broken for years and we needed to fix it so we could install a new, low flow toilet. Going into it I knew that there was potential for a costly repair if the flange was iron set in cement. Fortunately the old one was plastic and they were able to screw the new one in. This portion of the bill was under $200. We had also picked up a replacement toilet already and they installed it for an extra fee. The new toilet is solid and works great.

+ -1 moreWe had them come in and fix what our home inspector failed to point out to us. They had to fix both showers because they were clogged up. They replaced new pipes behind the showers. I feel they are a little expensive. I would certainly use them again.

+ 1 moreThe first team they sent out did a beautiful job of digging but they dug in the wrong direction. They were then replaced after I called in the supervisor and a new team finally dug the right way. They had to hire a fence company to fix a fence that they destroyed. They had quoted a $10,000 job but the final cost came out to be over $11,000. They didn't stay within their promised estimate, which turned out to be very misleading. They sent out people to do the work that we are certain were very inept and not qualified to do this work. It took them weeks and weeks to get the job done right but it was not a small process. The supervisor himself finally had to come out and clean up the messes and complete the job properly himself. This was a lousy and costly experience.
Description of Work: We hired this company to run a new sewer line from the house to the main hook up.

Description of Work: We had a clogged main water line and called for rooter-rooter services....before it was all over we had a dug-up and ruined front landscaping, torn-out water,lawn irrigation lines and more nightmares than I can describe here. They did replace water pipes. Did not give itemized invoices....kept promising and never delivered. Work was sub-standard and continued to have problems in following years...We sold the house to get away from the nightmare of the bad plumbing! I know we should have sued but we were a young couple with children and did not know where to turn----Where was Angie's list then?!!!!! This company is a rip-off. Run from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The person on the phone understood my need for the pressure reduction valve and secheduled a tech for first the thing the next morning. Chris arrived one time. He was professional and friendly. He gave me a written quote on the install. He started the work and noticed the way the watering system for my plants and grass was not code and that non drinking water was more than likely back flowing into the house. He suggested a one way valve. I had it installed also.

Description of Work: Two servicemen from the company took a look at our leaking hot water heater. The heater was still under warranty. They provided their assessment of the situation which went something like this: "Your hot water heater needs replaced but the new one will only have a warranty that lasts until the end of the first unit's warranty which is December 2011. Also, you need a water pan with a drain tube that drains outside of the house. Also you need an extended warranty. And you need an alarm system that tells you when the water pan has water in it from a leak." We called the water heater company and they told us a replacement hot water heater will have a new and full warranty (6 years) not 10 months like the plumbers said. Also, my wife felt pressured into buying all of these up-sales like the alarm system and extended warranty. The water pan might be a good idea, but after we did some research, we decided not to use this company for the warranty replacement of our hot water heater. We found another plumber who replaced our unit for about the same price and he didn't try to sell us a bunch of stuff we don't need.

+ -1 moreThey fixed the toilets and that was like the biggest motivator. They did what they said they were going to do. The guy who was here was new and he was being trained by a senior guy. So the new guy didn’t know what he was doing, but he was being trained. I would hire them again.

+ 0 moreThis is a company we routinely call. Their scheduling is excellent, giving a two-hour window of time when they will appear and calling if that time does not work out. On a maintenance check, they check all faucets and drains and either drain water heater or clean drains. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, which is important to me. Any member of their staff I have dealt with has been professional and quick to respond to any problems or questions.

+ -1 moreOf the 3 companies that I talked to regarding the repair of the leak ABC was the most responsive. Their price quote was in-line with the other quote that I got. Mike was very conscientious about his work and keeping the area clean so dirt wouldn't be tracked throughout the house. He was prompt and finished the job quicker than I expected, he was there for less than 3 hours whereas another company quoted at least 4 hours. He wrote up the bill such that our insurance should have no problem deciphering the portion they will pay. Mike has worked with insurance companies before and knows what they need. Our insurance adjuster had recommended ABC and they were definitely worth it. We will probably use them again the next time we have a plumbing issue.
Description of Work: We had a slab leak in our front closet. The first plumbing company out guesstimated where the leak was and gave us an estimate. The second just gave a ballpark figure over the phone. ABC recommended that we first have a leak detector locate the leak which we did. Mike from ABC came that afternoon and gave us a quote for the repair. He was able to fit us in the next afternoon. He arrived promptly and began setting up the area. He moved furniture and pictures and a mirror near the leak and then put down sticky plastic to protect the carpeting and covered the nearest furniture with plastic. He used an electric jackhammer to break the slab and locate the leak. It was exactly where the detector suggested. He had to cut out a longer section of pipe the normal since the outside was corroded quite a bit. He repaired the pipe and tested the system before beginning closing up the floor.

+ 0 moreI called 2 other companies first. But, they never got back to me. ABC answered the phone right away. The dispatcher, Lorene, was really nice. She said she would get someone out that day by 4 and would call me about an hour before. She called at 2 and he arrived at 3:15. I was pleased with the professionalism and that I knew the entire price before he started working. Explained everything to me and then gave me a full house inspection. I had let things go too long and needed some other things done. It is nice to have a garbage disposal again. I will have them put an instant hot water gizmo on so I have immediate hot water at the kitchen sink in the winter time. I hate wasting water. All in all, this company is great and they even gave me a senior discount of 15% and they donate $5.00 to support our troops. I might add their plumber was really good looking too. I am very happy to have my problems resolved.
Description of Work: Replace water heater, emergency shut off valves and garbage disposal. Also gave house inspection and replaced some risers.
