I recently had my house painted by Keith Painting. They painted the exterior and also one interior window. They also patched up some of the stucco on the house. They were very nice to work with and helped me pick out colors for my house. The painters showed up on time every day and worked very hard all day. They were very detail oriented and careful with my house. They also tidied up at the end of each day so I didn't have a big mess to look at. The paint job turned out very nice and my house looks great. I would highly recommend them and will call them again when I need painting.

Alex is awesome. I used him 8 years ago to paint my trim and his crew did a great job so I called him again this time for the entire house. Great job will use again for sure! Before and after pics.

I asked Alex from Keith Painting for a bid, along with 2 other Angie's list painting companies. His bid was slightly lower than the next lowest. He answered many questions about paint quality, preparation, and company experience. Alex is a likable guy. He was challenged to schedule the work in the face of the many recent rain storms. He started only one week later than estimated and got the job done in the number of days promised even though there were 4 rains storms in that two week period. His painters for the job, Mike and Theo were nice, polite and professional. They kept the work site neat and gave special attention to a couple of areas I was concerned about. It was all-in-all a pleasant experience with no surprises. I plan to hire them again for the inside of the house.

Keith Painting did a magnificent job staining the exterior of my home. I can't recommend them more highly. They tackled a large, difficult job, with great expertise. Their price was very competitive, their crew worked quickly yet carefully, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Alex and Miguel!

Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the finished work. And working with the company owner, Alex, was pleasant and easy. Alex was completely willing to do whatever it took to do the job to our satisfaction. Scheduling went fine, and the price was the lower of three bids. But there were problems along the way. Getting to where I was happy with the final product took more checking on my part than I would have liked. Two guys did the work, Dion and his helper, Donilla. Dion did high quality work, but Donilla didn't. Dion wasn't checking Donilla's work, so I did. Part of one window frame was left unpainted, and holes in the eaves weren't patched. The clean-up at the end could have been better. While the crew did the major part of the clean-up, I spent a couple of hours on it after they left. Bits of old scraped-off paint were scattered in the garden, and there were paint drips on a brick pathway. I would hire Keith Painting again due to reasonable prices and the ease of working with the owner to get, eventually, to a high quality job. However, I would ask for a more professional helper.

Great, prompt, done in 4.5 days. Cleanup daily. Nice crew. Over and above, they even removed & painted the mail box.

Great family owned company. Estimate was reasonable, work was prompt & finished in 4 1/2 days. They moved rock away from foundation, patched repaired stucco, power washer, brush, roller & spray painted. They covered everything that was not to be painted. They gave paint suggestions. Daniel was here everyday to answer questions. Alex came the last day to verify everything was satisfactory. I give them a A+++ rating. Thanks Dion & cousin, great job. Would use this company again.

The project went very good. There was a slight miscommunication to get started -- when we agreed to the bid Alex came and we signed a contract, but the next day Daniel (his brother) called to ask when he could do the bid. We had a little misunderstanding about when the work would start: my wife says he told me approximately a date -- work started 3 days later than what I thought, but I think that was me. The guys who did the work were efficient and nice and tidy. Job was done in 5 1/2 working days. The spent the majority of the time prepping. Also they helped on colors. At the end I did a walk-around and I was surprised because there was very few little details to touch up (a few were things that they masked off to avoid getting paint on, but I wanted them painted, such as some electrical conduit and a bare pipe). My house looks great. I would definitely work with them again, and recommend them.

My husband & I are delighted & honored to share our excellent experience with Alex & Daniel Keith. I found Keith Painting, Inc. on your website after doing an extensive search on the internet for a reputable company. Not only did they meet that qualification, I found the Keith brothers to be extremely professional, reliable, & honest. The company, founded by their Father, has been family owned since 1953. Our "Birdhouse" home was built in 1959 by real estate developer William Mellenthin who was known for designing charming ranch-style homes with gorgeous, wood beam, cathedral ceilings. Having owned our home since 1991, the last time we painted the exterior was November 1993; unfortunately, the January 1994 Northridge earthquake damaged the stucco & as a result we neglected upkeep of the exterior. Thus, our home needed substantial prep work, including the replacement of old, warped, half-torn, over-painted shingles from 1959! Because we wanted colors to reflect the Craftsman-style architecture of our home, we were unsure about what to choose & didn't decide until the day that the prepping began. Daniel confidently showed up with Sherwin-Williams custom paint charts & helped us pick the ideal colors for our taste. In closing, from the moment we met Alex & Daniel when they arrived to give us an estimate, we had a very good feeling about the integrity and ability of Keith Painting. They provide excellent work with attention to detail and top quality products, along with great customer service. What we appreciated the most was their attitude that they would do whatever it took to make sure we were satisfied. We also love that this is a local, family-owned business & we look forward to working with them again.

The brothers approached me in my driveway offering a free quote. I would usually ignore such solicitation, but glad I didn't. They had painted several neighbor's homes. My neighbors were all very complimentary of their services. They guided me on color choices and included several services without charging additional. Extra services including repairing grout of exterior chimney, putting a clear poly coat on front door, repairing wood trim and painting exterior pole light. The guys worked very fast and clean. We are very pleased with value for price paid.

Daniel arrived on time and gave me a quote, I asked for a written estimate which he provided, but as I was initially signing, I noticed it was a contract. I asked was this the contract and he said yes. I was going to hire him anyway, but I was put off by his assumption. The painters were pushed and rushed to finish by their bosses. I made several changes, but was assured that it was no problem till they got a new job and then the crunch was on. They left me with a huge mess and a clogged sink. The handyman advised me he couldn't do the job as I needed to get it cleaned out to the street. It appeared to be clogged with paint and something else??????????? They agreed to come back, but I was THROUGH........

They were out to please and arrived on time when they said they would. The work went well.

Alex Keith had been very persistent in canvasing the neighborhood, and seeing the jobs they were doing locally, I decided to get a bid. After some haggling he was able to get his bid in a range I could afford and in line with some of the more competitive bids. I am very glad I went with this company. Two brothers showed up to do the job, Dion and Pedro, who had been with the company some time. They were professional, diligent, pleasant, and took great care with my landscaping. They worked very hard and I felt comfortable having them on my property in no time. I loved the quality of the overall job, and when we needed to call them to have them fix one detail, they were very responsive and did exactly what we asked for. Alex does a good job managing the job. I would do business with these guys any time.

Alex Keith came to our house initially to give us an estimate. He was pleasant and professional. We were having other work done at the house and did not want the painting to start for another two weeks. The Keith crew was at our house on time the day the job started and every day of the job. The gentlemen who did the actual painting and stucco repairing were excellent. They were on time and worked hard.I During the course of the job Danny Keith came to our jobsite to check on things. Everything ran so smoothly it was just unbelievable. We have bushes and small trees next to the house and these painters were so clean and efficient there was not one drop of paint on the ground or on the trees or bushes. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. And already have!

One of the co-owners of the company inspected our house exterior, gave us a price for the job and explained the overall process and timing. There was a bit of a delay in starting the project, but once we indicated we wanted it started soon, they complied. The foreman for the job (Carlos) was the main painter and our interactions with him were very good and he was quite helpful. He regularly explained what they would be doing and consulted with me regarding various choices we needed to make during the process. He also corrected and repaired some problems I wouldn't have expected him to do (e.g., some leaks in rain gutters, etc.). Because of some lack of coordination by my wife and me (regarding a section of the trim and gables painting), after things were completed we asked if they could re-do some painting to the front entrance section of the house and they immediately did that without any reluctance. In general, it was a good experience and we are quite satisfied with the work they did.
