Did a good job removing the tree. However, the workers leaked a significant amount of chain oil on my patio while removing the tree, and when I told the owner, he said there was nothing he could do about it, and that if I wanted it fixed I should use gasoline to remove the oil stains. He also offed to cut up wood for firewood, which i said I would like as long as the wood was not rotted or bug infested. When i looked through the pile most of the wood in the pile was rotted and it took me several weeks of trash pickups to dispose of it. They did a an acceptable job trimming the pine tree but a bad job trimming the two mulberry trees. A lot of obvious deadwood was left on both trees (peeling bark and black branches visible from the ground). I was off the premise when they finished so did not get see the tree until after they had left. When I called up to tell the owner about the missed deadwood, he said that since the tree did not have leaves on it they could not get all the deadwood, which I understood and did not expect every piece to be cleaned out; however, I told him that the deadwood, I was referring to was obvious deadwood that I had pointed out to him. He responded by saying they could come out (for a fee) when the tree put leaves out and do another trimming. Also said that he does not want his employees to put themselves in danger to cut deadwood. I do not want people to put themselves in danger to cut deadwood out of my trees, but do not tell me that you can trim the tree and clean out all the deadwood at the estimate and then after you get my money tell me it cannot be done due to the danger the job presents. I hire a tree service to trim trees that I cannot trim safely or easily because they advertise that they have both the equipment and expertise to do the job. I made the mistake of paying for the service after the tree had been removed but before the trees had been trimmed, and they did not come back out to finish the job, so I ended up writing this one off to a learning experience.

He brought down the big tree fine and offered to cut them down to firewood suitable pieces for free - though he probably saved on disposal fees. On the frontyard tree died after pruning- I think his workers climbed on the tree and cracked a major branch as that whole branch died out. I had big citrus trees in the back for shade and he claimed they had to be extensively pruned. I asked if it was safe to do so in the middle of an arizona summer, he said it was fine. Soon after, the trees started doing very badly, with the exposed barks getting singed by direct sunlight and entire branches dying out. I have since learnt that citrus trees should never be pruned so extensively that gaps appear in the canopy, let alone doing so in the summer! This company obviously does not know his trade and is not an expert like he claims.

Response from wisdom tree care svc
Shared with owner during giving the bid... that his tree's had a bad fungus. He stated that that had happened during previous owners care. We pruned said tree's according to industry standards... careful not to take to much out of the canopy... We also fed them with vitamins and minerals... with a special fungicide included. At the time pruning was done I reiterated again to the Member that the tree's were in really bad shape but that we would do everything possible to save them. I even suggested the tree's could be injected with a industry standard fungicide for better results. However, he choose not to because of the cost... Later, the Member complained to BBB... as soon as they(BBB) E-mailed us his complaint I immediately called him. He said tree's were looking worse. I scheduled a time to feed the tree's again ( Free) and to try to explain that the previous owner had not cared for the tree's properly -- the Member said he under stood. He's a nice man frustrated with tree's that are sick... I wish we could have done more to save his tree's but tree's with a bad fungus -- do poorly or die. I hope his survive, we did all we could to save them! The Member's assessment of the situation is incorrect and unwarranted.
