Went really well

Rubbish Works called me ahead of their visit and showed up on time. I was then given an estimate of what it would cost to do the job. Due to the time it was going to take they had to reschedule, which was no problem for me. The following week they again called me ahead of their scheduled visit and showed up on time. Jesse and Justin (?) got right to work and moved about 15+ tons of dirt out of my side yard along with some other random junk that has accumulated over the years. Took three trips for them to complete the job. They were carful to not disturb the termite baits in the ground and they even properly graded the area to slope away from the house. This was a spendy job, no doubt, and it did cost me a good chunk. But dirt is heavy and moving it is very labor intensive. So even though this was at the high end of acceptable, I feel it was worth it. They did a great job, were very professional, and I would hire them again.

We were able to schedule an appointment online for same day pick up The crew arrived within two hour window calling us 30 minutes ahead of arrival. The items to be hauled away were in a pile in our driveway: one rug 8x12, oversized cardboard, one 13 gallon trash can, chicken wire, set of curtain rods. The driver's price quote was $170 minus $25 for AL discount. We appreciated the ease of scheduling and on time arrival. Due to a very positive response and excellent customer service, we will most certainly continue to use Rubbish Works.

Backyard is down a slope and they removed all rock and debris by wheel barrow, up the hill, without any issues. The gentlemen did a great job!

Two men were sent to remove items and take away. They were prompt and professional.

They called prior to arrival to let us know they would arrive shortly. Reviewed the job, made recommendations, informed us of what they could and could not (remove paint cans) do. Once we agreed upon what should be removed, they gave us the price, which we agreed to. They were quick, efficient and did a great job!

I was informed that I would not be getting the deal price and asked if I still wanted items hauled away. I agreed to the price for convenience . I would not use provider again as I had listed items to be removed before I set up the appointment and was not told of a price increase and would not have agreed to an increase Owner offered a refund for the unexpected overcharge.

Well, after waiting for over a week to take delivery of new furniture so I could donate the old furniture to the Salvation Army.....the Salvation Army came and said my furniture had too many spots for them to take. I had taken off a day of work, had two sets of furniture sitting in the middle of my family room, and the day was almost over. I went online and did an online request and they arrived within two hours, gave me a discount for booking online and instantly became my heroes!!! I would definitely use them again. They were so nice and accommodating, I can't say enough good things about them. I called the office before their arrival and she gladly explained the pricing schedule which they adhered to when they gave me their onsite quote. They also give you a courtesy call when they're about 30 minutes away. It was an amazing end to a frustrating day. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

This company gets our highest recommendation. We had what we thought was 6 or 8 tons of unwanted gravel in our walled yard. We were looking for someone to move it to another area of our property for future use on our roadways. Not a typical hauling request. Brandon, the crew chief, came out and reviewed the job and submitted a bid as promised the following day. On acceptance there was excellent communication throughout the project from start to finish. Brandon and his crew arrived on time and did a thorough, professional job, even though the total volume of gravel ended up being close to 30 tons! Hauling companies on the whole are sometimes sketchy at best. These guys are professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. 5 stars!

Scheduled for the next day (a Sunday!) and arrived within their scheduled window. Gave me a fixed price quote before loading. Worked efficiently and professionally and were done in half an hour. Filled up half their medium sized truck for a price of $350 less a $25 Angies' List discount. I was expecting to pay somewhat less but they pointed out that they would have to make three different stops to dispose of the stuff. I was very satisfied.

If you have a bunch of stuff, you put it in a big pile and they come and pick it up. Even though they could not do my work, they were very nice people.

I had a truckload of appliances, boxes, garbage bags, garden equipment, and more. Just the thought of trying to haul it to the dump was depressing, so I called Rubbish Works. I'm so glad I did. They were a little late (President Obama was in town and traffic was affected), but kept me apprised of their progress. When they arrived, they were in uniform. They were pleasant, businesslike, professional, and efficient. They made short work of my huge pile of garbage.

THESE GUYS ROCK! I am so incredibly pleased with the service I received from this company. My story: I was shocked to discover a 5-day eviction notice on my front door; I had not received the required 48-hour notice to inspect the premises. I don't blame them for threatening to kick me out, though--my apartment was starting to look like some I had seen on the Aand E TV show and quot;HOARDERS.and quot; During the past couple years I've had several health problems that severely restricted my mobility for a time and the clutter morphed into a monster. When I finally got back on my feet, the whole thing was so overwhelming, I couldn't even find a place to start. I found RUBBISH WORKS on the internet and gave them a call. My questions were politely and professionally answered, and I was even told that I would save $20 if I booked them on the 'net, which I did. My team consisted of Todd and Justin, who arrived that very afternoon with a truck and lots of huge garbage bags, and were neatly dressed in the company and quot;uniformand quot;. They were professional, friendly, and completely non-judgmental. They assessed the situation, gave me a quote, (final price was actually a bit LOWER) and got to work. Two hours later, I felt like I had gotten my life back! They would accept only a very modest tip--at my insistence they accept something--and they certainly deserved a HUGE one. And the cherry on top? A hand-written thank-you note from the company's owners, along with a Starbuck's gift card! Absolutely 5-stars all the way around and a real class act.

I wanted to give my husband a big pile of dirt for his birthday. Really -- he wanted dirt to be available when he needs it for various repairs in the yard. I found that our local nursery (Baker's Nursery) will sell fill dirt or garden dirt -- $10 / cubic yard. They could deliver it too, but just would dump it in the street or in our driveway. I didn't want my husband to have to move the dirt to the storage area in our back yard -- what kind of a present would that be?? Eventually, I thought of calling Rubbish Works, which I did last Friday. This wasn't a usual request, so the owner, Rita Brady, called to discuss it with me. She decided her crew could do this, but she needed some idea of how much dirt we were talking about so that she could quote me a price. I went to the nursery, and the folks there recommended half a cubic yard. I called Rita back, and we agreed on this morning (Wednesday) for the delivery. She called Baker's Nursery to be sure everything would work out as I had hoped, then called me back with a cost - $200 for the labor, $5 for the dirt. She e-mailed me with a schedule (between 10 and 12) also. The fellows came on schedule this morning, calling me around 10:30 to let me know they'd be here in a few minutes. They were clean (why wear khakis and a polo for this kind of work??, but they did and they looked neat), pleasant and professional. They didn't complain about having to lift the wheelbarrow over a short garden wall, and they were done before noon. My husband was tickled pink, and has gone outside a couple of times to be sure he really does have a cache of and quot;spare dirtand quot; -- it really is a big deal to him. So, I highly recommend Rubbish Works. They are both flexible and professional. I thought the price was very reasonable for a truck and two men doing fairly hard physical labor for two hours.
