I was having some problems with my Water Heater. Turned out to probably just be a bad thermo-coupler. I called Mike on Sunday. He came out on Monday @ the time of the appointment and promptly fixed the problem. He knew what he was doing and was professional in nature and practice.

It went great! Mike called back real fast, was out the next day. When he showed up he quickly found the leaks, told us what was going on, went to the hardware store for parts and then fixed them both. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

Mike was responsive, punctual and organized - did not keep us waiting ever, either on the phone or in person. He could have charged us $150.00 to repair the 11 year old faucet we have at our kitchen sink, but he was honest and advised us to buy a new one which he would install for $150.00 - which he did two days later. He did not charge us at all for the first visit, at which he also spent considerable time searching and listening for a suspected slab leak, using very sensitive equipment. He was not able to hear any leak sounds, but we do have staining showing through the vinyl flooring. He patiently explained the various options and possibilities to us. Again, he could have started tearing things up and charged us lots of money, but he took a conservative posture. He suggested we remove the affected flooring and examine the damage at that point, then get back to him, which we will do. He cleaned up after the faucet replacement spic and span! The faucet is perfect! We will definitely be calling him for all future plumbing needs - a really nice person, and he seems to know his stuff.

great job. they were able to quickly detect that the leak was located under the staircase. no where near where we thought it was...lol they showed up on time, made the repair, and cleaned up everything. some jobs are better left to the professionals. we would hire them again.

Mike did a great job and pointed out all the issues relating to the faucet brand I had purchased. He was very professional and did a great job!

Mike arrived before the time he said that he would, a first for me. I showed him where the water was leaking where it came into the house. He used his equipment to locate the leak. It turned out that the leak was at the pvc elbow where the main line and riser met. The riser pipe was enclosed in concrete. He had to come back the next day with an electrical jackhammer to break up the concrete and repair the pipe. The cost was 350 which was OK. I didn't have to pay anything ahead of time and got the bill in the mail a week or so later. I will use this vendor again if I need any more plumbing work in Highland California

His professionalism was OK. The leaking stopped but the cabinets was not done properly.

The company responded quickly to my message and accommodated my request to come to the house to give me the estimate. The company was honest enough to tell me that the leak is not plumbing but was coming from the furnace.

It went great! Mike quickly responded to my email describing the problem of my laminate tiles starting to bubble by the toilet. I couldn't see any visible leak and feared it may be something going on in the adjacent septic tank like a root unseating the toilet bowl. Mike said he would come out and look at everything and if it turned out to be a problem with the septic tank, he wouldn't charge us for the visit. Wow! We set up an appointment for 8am. Mike was promptly on time. Came in, recognized the problem - It was a very slow drip that dropped right into a tile seam and then disappeared - found a loose water connection, tightened things up and he was on his way - NO CHARGE - he said to call him back when we had a real problem. And that we will do!

My daughter noticed that one of the kitchen tiles "squished" under her feet in the kitchen while i was at work on a Friday. The next morning I checked Angie's list and called Acme leak detection to check on the problem (at 100:30 AM). Mike said he would be there between 3-5 although he could not be 100% sure of the time. I told him I would be here all day.'Mike arrived at 2:35, analyzed the problem, and fixed it within an hour, including the time it took for him to purchase the part. He was prompt, professional, and didn't expand the problem into a more expensive one. I asked him to quote me a price on some additional work, was very reasonable on that pricing as well. I have found the plumber I will call if I ever need one in the future!

He is very pleasant and found the leak right away. We are still waiting for the work to be completed becasue they need to do other things first. When I spoke with him and the insurance company to drill into the concrete, but all we needed was a re-route, as far as I am concerned he charged me between 700 to 1000 dollars more than he should have because he did not have to go into. He did not go into the concrete and still charged me like he was going into the cement. I will never use him again.

I appreciated Acme's honesty and professionalism. Instead of talking me into needless repairs, Mike explained that my problem couldn't be a plumbing issue and pointed me to the more likely cause.

Mike was great, he was super early to our appointment which was wonderful. He did a thourough check of all our faucets/water lines in our new home to make sure everything was in tact before he turned on the main water valve. He instantly found where the leak was coming from (a bad toilet) so that was great news (no major plumbing fixes!). Mike was professional, very helpful and so nice about answering all of my questions. We will definately use ACME Leak detection in the future and would refer him to our family/ friends.

Detecting where leak was it what required the expertise or I would have been breaking up concrete all over the house. He pinpointed the leak location within 6 inches. Tore up the tile, broke the concrete, repaired the leak, poured new concrete. He does not do tile work but made sure the work area was included within a two tile area. He knows his business! Giving the highest recommendation I could give.

Mike was on time, professional, and easy to talk to. He identified the cause of the leak from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. The repair was completed within an hour.

Discovered a pipe with a hole in the garage which was causing a flood there and in the courtyard. Also found that I could not turn off the main gate valve to the house because it was defective. Called Acme and Mike was able to arrive before his scheduled time. After several attempts, Mike was not able to turn the City main off, so he had me call the City to turn off the water main. They were prompt to respond (within 30 minutes) . Mike was then able to continue with the repair, although he ran into several glitches due to the old style piping and configuration of the plumbing, and the new fitting he bought broke apart. But, he resolved each problem and was able to take care of every thing in 1 1/2 hours time. I will call on him again when new plumbing issues arise.

It ended up to be a bigger job than what we thought it would be. The faucet I bought, the size was different so he went to the store but could not get it there. He ended up coming over to do the job twice. He contacted the supplier and they sent us some kind of piece. He did a lot of extra work for me. He was perfect and I already told him that if I had any problem I would call him.

They did a great job. We were very pleased with their service. They had a very reasonable price.

He could not find the leak even though there was a leak evidenced by the water meter. He was very professional about it and did not charge us.

Same day service to check leak in driveway.

Water meter did not indicate a leak, but said that the meter and his detection equipment cannot detect very small leaks. Suggested adding waterproofing to exterior of the house.

We called on Monday, 6/28 and he was at our house at 1:30 p.m. the same day. We envisioned the worst, tearing out walls, concrete etc. His recommendation put our minds at ease.
