GEORGE'S ELECTRIC, INC.

The last time I used their services was mid of last year. I would say that they were highly overpriced. I paid $80 an hour for a man who shuffled around, I paid $80 for his fun, and he did not work out well, and I also paid $80 an hour for a duffer who did not do anything and he was being trained. I do not know why I paid $80 for him. I paid $80 an hour for three of them running around, and they did not complete their work. In fact the old man who happens to be the heat surge, actually was in my home which my father built many years ago by himself and he actually said something like "had my father not done such a Mickey Mouse job doing the electric." He is my daddy, he is dead, he cannot defend himself and I damn sure will. The house did not burn down in all those years, so how it was a Mickey Mouse work, and I am paying him to go through it and replace and update my daddy's work. Had it not been for my daddy's work he would not have been here, would he? But he had the nerves to stand there and say that. So, as a result they did not complete all of the electrical work that they were hired to do. Also it did not come to matter if I said I want dark brown switches, dark brown plates, I do not like white, I hate white, white is the most insulting color in my home and I do not have any. They said "I did not have the right one with me, I will get you another," but everything they put in was white or off white. In fact I lost my porch light, and I do not even know how I lost my shop light. I went through all of the summer last year with no outside light. I would never ever recommend them to anybody. I would make sure that my neighbors are aware of this fact that that is the kind of work they did here.

Actually they were a little hard to get a hold of at first and part of it was my fault. For emergency services they are really available but I have to make sure I call during office hours to set up an appointment, and that is not unreasonable. Their price was not unreasonable, but it was higher than I expected or hoped for. The electrician that came out really did the job well. He took his time looking over everything so that the estimate was accurate. His work was really professional and well done. He explained things to me and answered my questions.
