+ -1 moreI had an excellent experience with this company and two separate occasions. They were very quick to respond via text and understood my situation being very limited on time for repair as the house was under contract to sell. They worked in part of my repair within the next day - coming out to reset tiles on the roof before another large storm was expected to hit the area, ensuring the house did not suffer further damage. They returned just a few days later to complete the repair & their prices were very reasonable. I had them out a second time for a minor issue, again on short notice, and they were quick to respond and were at the house the next morning to take care of it. They sent me photos of the completed job. Highly recommend this company!!!!

+ -1 moreI have asphalt shingles on my roof that are original. During high winds, shingles were ripped off in 2 places. I thought because of the age of the roof I would probably need a new roof laid on top of my existing shingles. Gary and Son Roofing was very responsive to my phone calls, came here in a very punctual manner, and was able to patch my roof at a fraction of the cost. I cannot even see where the patches are. The rest of the roof was completely intact and did not need replacing or covering. They could have made a huge job out of this, but only did what was necessary. I am very glad I found them and will definitely call them again when the need arises.

Description of Work: The last time we used them was 2009, but your calendar doesn't go back that far. We discovered a leak near our fireplace. Gary & Son examined the roof and identified that a section of the roof had rotted. Their proposal clearly identified what needed to be repaired, the steps they would need to take to complete the repair and the approximate cost to do so. When the actual repair was performed, the cost was slightly higher than the estimate because it included the exact cost of materials used and everything was itemized. This was the second time we used Gary & Son. The employees were friendly and professional in their work. The results were excellent and we've never had to have them come out to fix anything they've repaired. I would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreDISAPPOINTED. TOOK THEM AN ENTIRE WEEK TO GET BACK TO ME TO SCHEDULE WORK. SAID THEY WERE JUST TOO BUSY, ALTHOUGH I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME WITHIN A DAY OR TWO AFTER MY INITIAL CALL. BY THE TIME THEY CALLED, A WEEK LATER, I HAD SOLVED THE PROBLEM A DIFFERENT WAY. THEY SEEM QUITE PLEASANT, JUST OVERWORKED. NO OPINION AS TO QUALITY OF WORK, SINCE NO WORK PERFORMED AND NO MONEY PAID TO THEM. ESTIMATE THEY GAVE ME WAS $300.
Description of Work: WERE TO HAVE INSPECTED AND ADVISED ON PATIO ROOF AND BROKEN ROOF TILE.

+ -1 moreTHE FINISHED ROOF WAS DONE WELL, BUT THERE WAS A DELAY IN THE WORK DUE TO POOR COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN THE WORK CREW & THE BUSINESS OWNER. THE ROOFERS DID NOT SECURE ONE OF OUR SKYLIGHTS SO WE HAD SOME PROBLEMS, BUT THE BUSINESS PAID FOR THE DAMAGE PROMPTLY.

THEY HELPED ME PICK OUT THE PAINT TO MATCH, DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP, AND WERE VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. THEY EVEN HOOKED US UP WITH AN AIR CONDITIONING COMPANY AND ORGANIZED THE NEW UNIT BEING INSTALLED.

+ -1 moreNEW FOAM ROOF! WE HAD SEVERAL QUOTES FOR THIS BIG JOB. GARY AND SON WAS NOT THE CHEAPEST BUT THEY WERE THE MOST THOROUGH IN THEIR EXPLANATION AND GUARANTEES. THEY DID A SUPERB JOB! THE DETAIL OF THE WORK WAS MOST IMPRESSIVE...THEY ROUNDED EDGES AND THICK APPLICATION. WE HAVE HAD A BIG MONSOON SINCE APPLICATION AND NO LEAKS! THEY WERE DEPENDABLE, ON TIME AND VERY NEAT. A+
Description of Work: REMOVED EXISTING FLAT ROOF. CLEANED AND PREPARED DECK, POWER WASHED EXISTING ROOF, MADE NECESSARY REPAIRS, CLEANED AND REMOVED ALL DEBRIS. SPRAY APPLED 1' NORMAL URETHANE FOAM TO ENTIRE ROOF SURFACE AND APPLIED AN ACRYLIC ELASTOMERIC SEAL COATING TO ENTIRE AREA.
