+ -1 moreJim, put a lot of effort in trying to fix a 15 year old spa. Unfortunately not all part available. Most places just wouldnt even try secondary to the age. Decided to get a new spa instead of complete new guts. Good communication through whole process. Great warranty on shell, motor. Didnt push as what to buy. Uses very good contractors for electrical and setup. Good finances offer. Spa included cover, cover lifter.

+ -1 moreTHE REPAIR/INSTALL REP WAS ''LOCAL'' TO OUR AREA (W/IN 10 MILES) OF CAVE CREEK, EVEN THOUGH THE COMPANY IS OUT OF BUCKEYE, 40+ MILES AWAY. HE CALLED TO MAKE AN APPT. AND CAME EARLY. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS AFTER THE 5-6 DAYS, I CALLED THE COMPANY 1ST TO CHECK ON STATUS, AND WAS INFORMED HE WAS ON THE WAY W/THE NEW PARTS, AND WAS GOING TO ASK ME FOR APPROVAL AFTER HE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE AGAIN ALL OTHER PARTS WERE WORKING. HE WAS AT HOUSE WHEN I ARRIVED, I HAD ALREADY GIVEN OK OVER PHONE AND THE SPA WAS WORKING W/IN 1 HOUR. IT'S BEEN WORKING WELL EVER SINCE. WIFE [AND I :-)] ARE HAPPY!
Description of Work: SPA NOT HEATING UP. HE CHECKED SWITCH AND HEATER. FOUND BAD SWITCH - GOOD HEATER, GAVE ESTIMATE OF $125 + TRIP. DIDN'T HAVE SO HAD TO ORDER. 5-6 DAYS LATER CALLED TO INFORM NO SWITCH AVAILABLE THAT IS COMPATIBLE W/CURRENT HEATER, SO NEEDED TO RETROFIT NEW SWITCH AND HEATER @ $390 + ADAPTOR PARTS + TRIP. MUCH HIGHER, BUT IT WAS AN OLDER ''HOT SPRINGS'' AND HE PUT IN BY MY DEADLINE OF 'BEFORE THE NEXT WEEKEND'- FOR MY WIFE'S RETURN HOME!
