Bit of a schedule blunder at the beginning and he showed up a bit late. Otherwise was professional. His service team came out days later to complete repair work. Started on time, bit didn't speak English well so it was hard for me to communicate my questions or to make sure all work was completed as planned. Cap covering one of my vents the "fixed" fell off again shortly after they left.

Service provider is obviously booked up & busy due to recent severe storm damage.They told me to reschedule at a later date. My insurance adjuster also told me that they will NOT refund my $150 big deal payment. I will reschedule the work when possible but without the the big Deal offer.

Glenn called ahead to let us know exactly when he would arrive. Upon arrival he surveyed the entire roof and created a comprehensive list of defaults (cracked tiles, caulking issues etc.) He reviewed them all with me and then went back on the roof and completed all the repairs to his and my own satisfaction. All inclusive in the Angie's List deal price. Will definitely want him in the future for any additional work I plan for the future. Very highly recommend him.

Glenn Smoker, the owner, showed up on a Tuesday and by that Saturday we had a new roof. He listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. His workers were courteous and worked hard. I even had someone come to check my air conditioner unit out after they were done and he said they had handled the unit perfectly and that doesn't happen very often. The air condo toner guy's father was a roofer and he had grown up helping him. He checked out the roof while he was up there and he said they did a very good job! The price was very reasonable. I found his coupon/offer on Angie's List. I will go so far as to say that Above and Neyond Roofing and Angie's List were both an answer to prayer. Without the offer we could not have afforded to get the new roof we so desperately needed!!

I am very pleased with Glenn's responsiveness and work. He really went the extra mile for us. Especially compared to the response of the other roofers we called for our 2nd issue. For the first job, he replaced our house roof in 2 days, completely cleaned up and did a very high quality job. He showed up on time each day and I had absolutely no problems. The roof looked great when he was done, and he had no problem transferring the warranty to the buyers about a month later. Now, 6 months later, we were in the process of buying a house, which had a flat-rolled patio roof that needed to be redone due to buckling as per my inspection. I called Glenn and he gave me a rough estimate quote over the phone so I had an idea of what the costs were and we moved forward with the expectation that the seller would fix the problem as per what we specified in the contract. Almost a month later, we came to our walk-through, and found to our dismay that the seller had put tar in the buckles and was calling that done. This happened on Friday evening, so I emailed Glenn based on our prior experience with him. I also called/emailed 5 other roofers, all much closer to my address. Glenn was the only one to email me back over the weekend. He looked at our pictures and gave us some feedback on the issue. When Monday came and our 3 day cure was not being addressed, we called 6 roofers to find out if one would come out to inspect it to give us an official estimate. Of course, it had to happen that day. Half the roofers never responded, one could come the next day but would charge $225, and one could come a week later. But Glenn, after hearing our problems, took time out from his schedule, came down to our house, did an inspection of the patio roof and gave us a free estimate, and then went ahead and inspected the regular roof as well. I am very pleased with him, and we will use him again when we fix this roof.

I purchased an Angie's Deal companied advertised and call Glenn roofer out to make estimate which he did. He like most roofers are solely interested in only trying to replace the entire roof. Glenn kept telling me that he would send over an estimate for repair and an estimate for new roof but never did. He touched base with me once to apologize for not being on the ball and stated he needed another week for estimate but I never received the estimate. I need my roof repair and it has been almost month now.

The coupon was "$150 for $300 Towards a Tile Roof Maintenance and Repair Service!" We didn't receive any roof maintenance, only a recommendation and rough estimate for a new roof. $150 paid for a visit and brief roof inspection but no maintenance. I've since had two roof inspections from other contractors for free. Not worth $150.

We were very pleased with the service. They were on time and did what was promised. The gentleman first came out to give and estimate and the price was what he said. He showed my husband what he would do and took pictures. My husband felt sure that he was honest and the work needed done.

They came out and looked over the roof. They did make some small repairs. He was very attentive to what I wanted to address. We then discussed some additional work for them to do too. He followed through with an estimate of the additional work I would like to have done.

The owner came out and he did the tile roof cleaning. He looked at it and he mentioned that he repaired a number of tiles and some flashing too. He then did a really hard sale and tried to sell us a new roof. I did also have an issue with this company returning calls.

They were punctual and professional, and the leak repair did fix the problem. They were also honest- after a roof inspection on an older roof, I was prepared for the news that the whole roof would need to be replaced. They told me, however, that the roof was actually in pretty good shape, and should have several years left in it, so a replacement wasn't necessary. I appreciated that! The only complaint I had was that it took them a fair bit of time to get to me, and, as my job was smaller, I think it probably got pushed back a couple times when bigger jobs that came in took precedence. They did communicate with me, however, when there were delays, and were punctual and efficient when they did come to do the repair. I would use this company again. I don't know that they're the cheapest, but I do think they're honest, reliable, and do good work.

It worked out pretty good. They showed up on time and they did their job. The work was good. We would probably hire them again. They were friendly.

Glenn was very professional. His estimate was fair. He took care of everything in a timely manner. His crew was very polite and cleaned up everything each day.

The only negative I have is that the coupon was not clear as to the type of roof it was good for. Apparently it was for a shingle roof. My roof is tile.. They did replace some cracked tiles etc. Won't be able to tell if it worked until we have some rain... Again, look at the coupon and you can see that it should specifically say "Tile"

Took forever for them to call us back. Didn't expect the work to be so expensive given the "deal". Had an estimate from another roofer prior to buying this deal -- and the cost ended up slightly more in total even with the "deal".

Overall, it went very well. The roof looks great and it was done without a hitch. They cleaned up very well afterwards and Glenn and his employees were very professional. I was impressed and would definitely recommend this company. I suggest that anyone assuming their house can be done for the $4,950 price get the square footage measured BEFORE they actually purchase the Big Deal. I learned that my house measured 2,700 square feet for roofing purposes even though the square footage is 1850 so the price was $7,600 instead of the price I anticipated.

It was great actually. I would recommend them. I really liked it and like the additional fee was annoying but it was for things that weren't actually roof related.

Owner was late because he had booked several of these in one day without leaving time for the actual repair. I appreciated that he allowed us to get on the roof with him and see issues. I also appreciated him explaining roof materials, etc. However, it was clear that he was there to sell us a new roof. He kept asking if we were getting a new roof. I kept reminding him that we just wanted the evaluation and repairs. He wasn't prepared to do the repairs, hoping we would simply get an entire re-roof or repair ALL of the work at a separate time. Ultimately, he did stay and do the repairs, thank you.

They did a great job ordering, finding new tiles. Replaced crack tiles, sealed many areas to prevent leaking, caulked and renailed tiles around entire house. Owner was helpful and took pictures of everything on roof that he recommended needed attention. Crew that did work were professionalism and did work quickly.

He came out and seemed like it was too much trouble to repair the roof. I left like he wasn't familiar with type of roof on my home. If he had told me he couldn't do the work or didn't feel comfortable with the type of roof, I would have understood. I had to pay someone else to come out and do the work . There were leaves in the valley and the general contractor I hired was able to fix the problem easily.

Hard to get a hold of because he was so busy with the many "big deals" purchased. Performed the job more than a week after it as originally scheduled. Nice man. Would try them again.

Glen Smoker the owner did the work himself and kept me informed about everything he found and what he recommended as I was not present at the time. He also informed me that in a few years I need to replace the roof but did NOT try to upsell me into getting it done now. I can not attest to quality since I do not go up on the roof.

I knew I needed sealing around a couple of the roof vents. I got nothing for the appointment but a really large inflated estimate. Have not called back to schedule any work. Going to another roofer to perform all of the estimated repairs for less.

I've used Above and Beyond several times over the years. It was not surprising I was able to find them on Angie's List. As always, they did an excellent and professional job at a fair price. I strongly recommend Above and Beyond Roofing.
