The company is wonderful. From the phone call I made to set up the initial estimate, to the completion of the project, everything was handled in a professional manner. The owner himself comes to supervise all the details while the work is being done. Keith, the owner, was very professional. I called and he quickly setup an appointment. During the estimate, he clearly explained all of my options from cost efficient to the best available material. His estimate was fair and I hired Stellar Decks to do the work. The team that showed up were punctual, friendly and professional. They did a great job and we are very happy with the results. The deck looks great! I would highly recommend.

Everything went great. Keith was recommended by the materials provider. I already had architectural plans due to a town requirement. Keith helped me decide on the colors and material (Trex, Azak) and type of handrails, guardrails, spindles, lattice, etc. The initial meeting was on-time, the work started on-time, the project was completed without interruption (except for a heavy rain day). There was an obstacle due to an un-seen underground pipe which they dealt with. I would recommend Stellar Decks and Keith for anyone doing a deck project because they did a high quality job for the right price.

From the onset, the owner Keith Camacho was extremely professional, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I interviewed numerous contractors (at least 8) and Keith stood out to be the absolute best person for the job. He worked with me on the design from start to finish. Keith went above and beyond my expectations every step of the way. Keith designed a beautiful unique deck that surpassed my expectations. He built a very large deck (as requested) and made sure that it did not overwhelm my property by using an interesting design that truly enhanced my backyard. As far as quality, it was top notch! The buildings inspector was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of Stellar Decks. (And this inspector rarely gives out compliments, if at all) Keith was on the job-site every single day while the work was being done and consulted with me if decisions needed to be made. He made some very artistic suggestions that most deck contractors do not get involved with. Needless to say I was very impressed and happy with the end result. I am so glad I chose Stellar Decks to build my new deck. I highly recommend Stellar Decks.

Keith was very knowledgeable and very professional throughout the process. He and his crew did a great job with the demolition of our old deck and installation of our new deck. The deck came out great and the experience was positive - no headaches, no hidden costs and no nonsense which was a breath of fresh air. The job was done timely and done the right way. I would not hesitate to use again.

The work was excellent. He finished in specified time. He left the deck and yard clean and free of debris. All of my questions and concerns were addressed professionally and clearly.

Keith and his crew did a superb job. Their workmanship was excellent, especially considering that we had the decking installed in a challenging diagonal pattern which required precision miter cuts. The highly capable crew was friendly, courteous and responsive to questions and requests. They were neat, worked well as a team and cleaned up the entire job site each night when they left. While their price was competitive, it was the high praise from other Angie's list members that convinced us to accept their proposal. We're very pleased that we did. Even a decking materials distributor and one of Keith's competitors had high praise for Stellar Decks. They certainly performed per their reputation.

Keith is a talented craftsman. From start to finish we were very satisfied. Keith is very knowledgeable and quite honest. The project was completed on schedule and I now have a beautiful deck. I have already recommended Keith to a dear friend. His workers are pleasant and I found Keith to be very polite.

He was very good. The job came out really good and I even recommended him to a friend of mine and that also came out very good. However there was one piece missing and he did not come back to fix it. He also gave me a couple of other estimates which I couldn't do ever since. But he was really good when he was here.

Keith was great to work with throughout the job. He was very reasonable and accommodating. I was getting a new paver patio and the deck installed at the same time and Keith worked with the mason to get the two projects coordinated and integrated with one another. The deck came out great and Keith's attention to detail was very apparent.

As usually happens with the "good ones" I have additional work that needs to be done but he is too busy to fit me in. Very disappointing.

They demolished our old deck and built a new deck using composite materials. They coordinated a new patio.

Keith and his crew showed up on time everyday and performed the tasks required. They cleaned up my backyard everyday before leaving. I reviewed everydays work and Keith made any changes as needed.

It was a pleasure working with Keith and his crew. Keith was very helpful prior to the job and very informative. From the first visit he had many decking samples and took his time explaining the different types of decking materials. Keith was prompt in getting back to us with a quote. We had several quotes and Keith was the most fair as far as price. He held to his start time and stayed with the job until it was complete. He was extremely patient and willing to make changes as I couldn't at first decide on which product to use and changed a couple of things along the way. Keith and his crew showed up on time every day, were extremely polite, very neat and cleaned up and swept at the end of each day. Most importantly their craftsmanship was excellent. I am very pleased that we went with Stellar Decks and would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again if needed in the future.

Keith Camacho (the owner) came on a Sunday, took measurements, and explained the work to be done. He also showed me Trek planking in case I liked that better. He knows his stuff. TimberTech requires beams be no more than 16 inches apart to keep their 25 year warranty so he had to add joists to my 20 inch spaced beams. He also told me the railings had to be 42 inches tall according to the NYC building code. I had shorter railings. I got a proposal in about 1 week which was comparable to other quotes I received. I signed it, gave him a deposit, and he came the next week. He came with a worker at about 9am and was finished by 4:30pm the same day. The porch looks beautiful, structurally sound, and he cleaned up and took away the old porch. Gratis, he built me a small door from the excess planking and even carried a heavy old air conditioner from my house to my basement. I'd recommend Keith/Stellar Deck & Patio based on the work they did.

Keith and his team had the task of rebuilding a wood deck using Trex. From the first time we met Keith we were impressed with his ability to showcase products, provide recommendations and willingness to do what it takes to get a design that we liked. He made several recommendations and while there was an added cost for some, explained why it should be done. Keith was very patient and understanding as we visited a showroom to choose the proper colors. Initially, we chose Timbertech but after visiting the showroom we liked a color combo available with Trex. We decided to go with Trex and so far (after 3+ months) we are very happy with the selection. The team showed up on a Monday to start the work. The old deck was completely removed, new foundation installed to code, and the new deck was built. As the deck took shape, we decided on a few changes (some minor, some major) and Keith was very accommodating. At one point one item was not to our liking, we mentioned it and it was resolved. Keith did not make a fuss or any issues. His goal was to make sure we were happy. The job took 4 days and the same guys, including Keith showed up each day. They were very attentive to make sure all garbage was cleaned up every day as well. His workers, including Keith, are hard workers and did what was required to get the job done. Overall, we're happy with the job Stellar Decks did and the attention Keith and his team provided. We would highly recommend Keith/StellarDecks for any work that they are capable of doing. He is very accommodating, honest, will help you make the right decisions and hard working.
