Renee Davis

Renee was punctual for all the appointments she made. She came to take measurements and help me select the shades. She made no attempt to "up sell" me to the most expensive fabric, which was quite refreshing. It was unfortunate that Hunter Douglas had recently changed its sample books so it no longer offered samples of all the colors of all the fabric types. As a result I gave up on one of the fabric colors I was interested in because I could not see the corresponding black-out sample. The installation was right on schedule. Unfortunately, one of the shades did not fit properly. Renee recognized that alterations would not look good and expedited the order of a new shade. She, and her installer son Shawn, came back for that installation after confirming by phone the actual delivery of the new shade and our availability. Shawn also moved the cord brackets outside of the window casement (for the two corded shades) at my request in order to ease access to the cords and patched not only the holes of the previous brackets but also the drywall cracks in two corners of the windows. Renee and Shawn also took away the old venetian blinds at my request. I will undoubtedly call The Blind Bear again when I decide to change the sliding doors coverings.
