Description of Work: Repaired the outdoor unit of our heat pump system. The actual repairs were fine, and they had to do some extra research, etc. However, it is very difficult to get these guys out to start work. Maybe they're just too busy.

Took a few days to obtain replacement coils and first replacement was bad. It cost us $900 (replacement coil and dryer was covered by warranty) to resolve all the issues that should have been resolved by the original contractor. Still, it was worth it to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer, without the unit running continuously and our electric bill is consistently lower.
Description of Work: We built our home 3 1/2 years ago and the builder had a Goodman Heat pump installed. The contractor installed the compressor under the deck. We had problems with the unit from the start. It ran all the time and did not warm or cool the house as it should have. The called the contractor that installed the unit and he said the compressor should be moved and he would return to move it (at a charge). He also said the unit was losing coolant but he thought he found the leak and repaired. We continued to have problems and we called him out again. He repeated the process and still it did not solve the problem. 2 years after moving into the house we were still having problems. We then called Langley Heat & Air after seeing them listed on the Goodman web page. They came out promptly determined the problem was a coil that was bad (many leaks) and promptly found a replacement. The replacement coil also leaked so they found an improved model and installed it. They then moved the compressor to an open area where it could operate efficiently. It has been a year and we have not had a problem since. Also, our electric bill has been lower and our home more comfortable. Langley was prompt, courteous, quickly determined the problem and solved it quickly. We highly recommend them.
