+ -1 moreWe advertised for a roofing repair job in exchange for deed to 4 acres of property we owned. Mr. Graham, plus 2 more contractors contacted us, physically evaluated the job and the property for exchange. He was not our first choice. However, our first choice couldn't seem to keep any following deadlines, and the day he was to start, he was a no show. At this time we hired Mr. Graham. This was a Friday, and he was on the roof beginning the job at 6:30 a.m. the following Monday. The job was done in 3 days. We were satisfied with the job he performed, and signed over the deed to the four acres.
Description of Work: Mr. Graham repaired our existing metal roof by doing the following: Removed existing roof; redecked with APA certified waferboard; screwed all decking to existing lathe roof instead of nailing; cap nail 30lb asphalt felt over new waferboard deck, reinstall existing steel roof; install oversize screws in all existing screw holes; install oversize ridge and new closures; vent roof with vented ridge closures; install new ceiling joists under porch, both front and back and install waferboard; new pipe flashings on all sewer vents; new 5" seamless gutters and downspouts; replace wiring of outside electrical units. In addition, the work was done in a timely, and professional manner. All trash and debris was cleaned up daily which was hauled away by the contractor.
