They never completed the job, took money for materials, never shown back up to complete job. Dodging us.....won't return calls had to contact his grandfathers realty company to track dowN. Its been a total nightmare. Trying to get our money back before calling an attorney

On April 18 , 2013 I hired Grant and Wise Custom Inc. to replace my front entry door, add a small porch to prevent further water damage, and repair the gutter. The bid was for $4624.00. He said that he needed 1/2 up front to cover materials etc. I gave him the check on that day 4-18in the amount of $2312.00 and it was cashed on 4-22-13. At this time I explained that we were ready to get this done as quickly as possible. Grant stated that he would get the materials delivered the next week(4-22-13). Surprise! No materials were delivered. Over the next 8(EIGHT!!) weeks we received no materials and almost all contact was initiated by me; several times having to call repeatedly to get him to respond at all. Each time there would be an excuse......but NO action. On June 13, 2013 Grant contacted me and said they would get the job done the next week. Again....NO action. No follow up calls....no sense of urgency.....nothing. On Friday June 21,2013 I again contacted Grant he said they would be at my house Monday June 24 with materials and ready to complete the job.....Monday comes but no materials....explanation problems with the supply house. Tuesday June 25 , 2013 I again texted Grant that morning to inquire as to when we should expect materials, workers, etc. He said he had hired someone to pick up the materials from the supply and deliver them. They should be there that day. That night(6-25) materials had not arrived. I sent Grant a text at 6:30pm stating that we had not received materials and what was the plan. NO RESPONSE. The next day Wed (6-26-13) at 2:05 pm I sent Grant a text stating that I needed to hear from him TODAY with delivery schedule and when they were going to start or when I could pick up my deposit check.....my patience was at an end and kept getting excuses. Again, NO RESPONSE. On Thursday 6-27-13 at 12pm; after hearing nothing NO text, No calls; I sent Grant another text stating that he was FIRED and we would be using another contractor. He promptly then sent me a text apologizing for NO COMMUNICATION and said he would be in the office the next week to process my refund. On Monday July 1, 2013 I again contacted Grant to see when I could get my money back. At this point he said their refund process would take 7 to 10 days and I would have a check. Forward to July 15,2013; I again tried to contact Grant to inquire why I had not received the refund as he had promised. NO RESPONE TO PHONE CALLS OR TEXT MESSAGES......I left several that day and evening. On Tuesday July 16, 2013 after approx. 10 phone calls that morning I received a text...NEVER CALLS ONLY TEXT....stating that he did not know why I had not received the refund but would check into it and get back to me that evening.....again personal issues...guess what? NO CALL BACK....NO CHECK ...NOTHING! BEWARE OF WISE CUSTOM INC.

I hired Grant Wise and Wise Custom Inc. to replace my front door on April 18, 2013. In short Grant took $2312.00 in deposit and has done nothing. Communication was non existent. No Materials , work , NOTHING. He got the deposit and became VERY hard to reach. Many excuses and NO action! I am still waiting on my refund of deposit and will probably end up in court with this goober. I would not hire this company to build the "saw horses" for the real contractors! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY! UPDATE!! 8-7-13 The following info was obtained and used with permission from the AR Contractor's Licensing Board. Grant Wise had his contractor's license REVOKED, retroactive to September 2012 due to numerous complaints, writing an insufficient funds check for the renewal, etc. Mr. Wise claims to be a member of the Better Business Bureau and the NWA Home Builder's Association. The logos are on his company's estimate sheets and on his web page. Mr. Wise, nor Wise Custom Inc. is affiliated with the BBB or HBA. Despite his promise in writing to return our money, we are still waiting for our money.

The roof repair needed correction. Mr. Wise said he would fix it pursuant to his guaranty. He did not. We hired another roofer to fix it and he charged $650. We asked Mr. Wise to reimburse us. He agreed but has failed to do so.

Smooth sailing although they showed up a little earlier than I wake up but I can't blame them for starting early when its cooler outside.
