About us

Our company originated as Luther Stem Trucking in the 1940’s by Luther N. Stem, Sr. who operated a dump truck service. It was taken over in 1951 by Luther Stem, Jr., who in 1962 built his first swimming pool in his own backyard. Soon after, people were asking him to build them a swimming pool and that is how our company came to be. For over 50 years Luther Stem Pools & Spas has enjoyed a reputation for honest dealings and quality concrete pool construction as well as winning eight national awards for workmanship and design and many Aqua 100 Awards. The company is a family owned and operated concern whose philosophy is centered around the Golden Rule… We strive to satisfy our customers.

They were able to get the pool installed in about 4 weeks. James Jones does the designs and worked with me over a year going over the plans and making adjustments. Once we agreed on the design, they went straight to work. Since the installation, we have had no issues at all with the pool. They may cost a little more than other places, but they are definitely worth it. The crew was nice to work with and we are very pleased with their service.
Description of Work: I had Luther Stem install my pool, which is about 35 feet long and 15 feet wide.
