Description of Work: "It was a very hot day and my air conditioner was leaking water under the unit.I called about 10:00 and Mr Cook was at my house within a few hours. The lady that answered the phone was especially pleasant and very easy talk with. |Mr Cook did an excellent job for me. He cleaned the drain, all the fins, inside & out, and my air conditioner is blowing three times the cold air than it was. |Mr Cook's service fee was quite reasonable for the time spent on the call. For the first time ever, I was actually pleased with the work and the fee when a service man left my house."

+ -1 moreI have used Cook's Heat and Air for several properties, including my personal home. The Cooks are trustworthy and dependable and they will do what is necessary to remedy a situation without overselling something you may not need. They've come out in the dead of winter to determine why it was only getting to a temp in the 50's in the house. Billy quickly determined it was an issue in the attic and the situation was resolved and the cost was reasonable. When we've had larger issues (units needing replaced due to age/end of service life), they've been on top of that as well. They replaced what needed to be replaced and made suggestions regarding future issues that might require attention as well. All in all, I would highly recommend Cook's Heat and Air for any heating/cooling servicing or equipment needs you may have. They have always worked to provide excellent service and it shows given the number of customers they have who have been with them for more than one generation. My family has considered them our "go to" company for over 25 years.

Description of Work: I tried numerous times to reach them, but they didn't answer their phone. I finally left a voicemail. They returned my call 4 hours later. By that time, I had already chosen another business, been visited by their technician, and hired them for a complete installation of a new central heat/AC unit. Being unavailable cost Cook's about $8000. That's unfortunate, but who doesn't even answer their business phone nowadays? Maybe they don't need my business, but when people in the South have an air conditioning problem, they need prompt service. Thanks to a generous warranty given by their competitor, I won't even have a need to call on anyone else for at least 20 years! Too bad...

+ -1 moreThey are the only ones that I would recommend. I trust them so much that they have a key to my house and they've had it for years. They are a family owned company that has been in business for years. It is a father and son. They are very, very dependable. They will come in emergency situations late on a weekend night. They have always met every need I've had. They had gone over and above. Their prices are reasonable. I am very critical and I am a perfectionist. I have nothing but good to say about them.
Description of Work: I used Cook's Heat & Air Conditioning to do the whole thing when I built a house 5 years ago. Prior to that they serviced my house for 20 years. They also service my parents and my sister. They come twice a year to service my heat and air and check my system when the seasons change. I am about to call them to come and service my air conditioning.
