They were supposed to level yard and failed to do so. The sod had large gaps between pieces. Claimed to be a national company yet on further research are not. The workers stood around and used foul language. They tore up more than they should have. After I asked the kid that claimed to be the boss to fix it I was told that it would cost more.

Skyler's Sod Store stepped in to complete the finish landscaping after a previous contractor had not finished his work. We had a hard deadline due to an upcoming event at our home and the team from Skyler's went above and beyond to assess the status of our project, understand what our goals were for the project, estimate what it would take to complete it and explain where the potential problems may be. They also were not shy about telling us what things they could not handle, rather than trying to do things that they weren't sure about. Once we agreed on the scope of the work to be performed they got right to work trying to meet our deadline. With good weather, good fortune, and good hard work, they managed to complete their work ahead of schedule. In fact, they worked over a holiday weekend to try to finish on time. They communicated regularly with us, asked for our input when needed and then did what we asked them to do. If something needed to be corrected or changed, they did it without complaint. I liked everything about them, the owner Randy Brown was very easy to deal with. They were very friendly, very quick on the job, and they had a very good price. They were very fast, and they cleaned up after themselves. The owner was very professional, but his workers were little rough eating guys. I would recommend their trees, they have great prices on trees, and they have outstanding prices on sod.
