+ -1 moreIt went very well. They completed the job within the stated time frame and were very professional. The crack in the wall has been eliminated by jacking up the affected part of the wall. They did the best job of cleaning up that we've ever had with any other repairs to our home. They were also great about answering any questions that we had.
Description of Work: Foundation repair of a cement block pump house. One wall had cracked so badly you could stand inside and look out at our yard.

Description of Work: The guy came over and did a very cursory inspection of our issues and home. Much quicker and less complete than any other company we consulted. He then laid out a very expensive fix for it - the highest we'd gotten. He wanted to let the water come through the foundation, install drains in crawlspace and pump it out again. This seemed to make very little sense. When I asked him if he could give me an idea of how the parts of the job were priced - in case we could stagger the work over time - he refused and practically accused me of wanting his proprietary pricing info so I could go to other cheaper contractors for parts of the job! Both my wife and I felt very unjustly mistrusted and didn't feel there was any hope of going further with FS.

+ -1 more"Gabriel and his crew of 3 removed a section of chain link fence and a stairway from the deck, cut out and removed sections of a concrete patio, excavated up to 6 feet deep, drove six pilings 12 to 14 feet into the ground and jacked up the foundation to close the crack in the brickwork. They then filled the excavation, packing the soil well, and replaced the removed concrete. They then replaced the stairway and graded everything as it had been. Forty eight hours after they arrived, they left, leaving the entire work area looking exactly as it was before they arrived except the crack was closed up. Their work was exceptional". I appreciate the work Gabriel and his crew did. They were not deterred by rain, mud and man made obstacles in their completion of the job.
Description of Work: Raised settling corner of foundation to close crack in brickwork and and installed piers to prevent reoccurrance.
