DAVID HARP PAINTING

I had several estimates in the price range that was given to me by Mr. Harp. He was nice and I chose to go with him because of the Harp name which is well known here in Springdale. I had intended to be home to watch the work done but it ended up that the day they came I was working. When they finished my husband paid them. Unfortunately my husband and I had not communicated about the actual paying; I had planned on inspecting the job before the payment. I was quite surprised when I came home and it was completed and done and I had not had a chance to see it to assure it was done well. Of course this is my own fault and not that of Mr. Harp. As I checked the trim, I was very disappointed. The trim was blotchy and looked terrible.I could tell tape was not used on the trim to give it a clean finish . It did not look professional at all. The boards had been nailed down and the rest of the painting was OK. Some of the paint where the trim and the back wall meet has already separated which It seems would not happen if too much paint had not been used in that area. I did not contact Mr. Harp because when I found out he had been paid, I didn't feel he would be able to do much about it since it had been completed. Looking back, I feel I should have let him know I was disappointed in the results.

The owner of the company has been painting houses for 40 years. They did everything that I asked them to do. I thought that they did a good job, and my house looked really good once they were done. I asked them to do extra things, and they did it. I thought that everything went very good. They showed up exactly when they said they would and finished the job in two weeks.
