They were on time and helped identify and fix the issue. Overall a great experience.
Description of Work: Unclogged a stoppage in my AC's drain pipe which was leaking water into my house. Also sponged up the excess water sitting in my attic.

Dean took the time to educate me on what he was doing, and was very professional while he walked through my house. He helped me locate items like my water shutoff valve that I did not know the location of, and that was not even part of the repair bill.
Description of Work: Dean fixed my hot water heater and all the faucets that were not receiving enough hot water.

Description of Work: Slip lined a leaking copper water line that was under the slab. Home warranty only covered repairing to a "rough finish" meaning our flooring would not be covered. Instead of digging up the leak in the slab, the plumber gave us the option to slip line the leak. Service was punctual and professional.

Description of Work: This is a company used by our home warrantee company (American Home Shield). They were called out to fix a leak under the kitchen sink and then again to fix a stopped up garbage disposal. Both times the two men who came were the same, were on time, showed up in a white truck with no company markings, wore regular plain clothes (no uniforms), did provide proper ID upon my request, we're fairly efficient in their work, performed both jobs within an hour, left no mess, and to date their work still holds up.

The first time they came out they told me the hot water heater was fine and they turned it on and it was working (although the gas company had advised us not to turn it on and to get it looked at or replaced). They also told us to get a pressure regulator before they would fix any leaks. We installed the pressure regulator, and then our hot water tank exploded and leaked all its water out overnight. The same company came out again as part of my home warranty to look at the hot water heater again. The guy came in to my home and immediately began taking pictures on his cell phone all over my house without permission. He didn't even look at the hot water heater and left after cursing at my husband. He didn't collect his fee either. I am bewildered, and would not recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: They came out as part of my home warranty to inspect my hot water heater and leaky pipes.

The gentleman that came out did a very good job. He was very professional and thorough.
Description of Work: I had called my warranty company and they sent Copher's out to fix my garbage disposal, tightened the washing machine lines and also tested the washer during the filling cycle.

The arrived on schedule, replaced the toilet tank parts and were very careful and professional. Asked for old towels and a bowl to fetch the water to avoid spillage. Very pleased with the service.

The owner of the company was the one who came out and talked to me about what they had to do. He was very clear about what my warranty paid for and what it didn't. He even made some great suggestions about upgrading my home warranty. They were pleasant and always upfront about what they were doing and why. I would use them again, and will if I need other work done.
Description of Work: Our hot water heater went out on and we called our home warranty service. The Home Warranty company sent Copher's out to look at my issue and said they told us that it needed to be replaced. In addition, to the water heater, They told us that we had to make some major code upgrades on our system to bring it up to current plumbing code. They came and replaced the water heater and did an excellent job and even stayed late to make sure we had our water heater for the next morning.

Our home warranty provider contracted this group to provide a plumbing solution. I was uncomfortable with their lack of professionalism allowing a small child of theirs to run around our property. Communication was poor and they failed to show with the proper equipment. 2 weeks after their attempt to address the plumbing problem, it returned. I called another provider and they arrived promptly with the right equipment and resolved the problem, even following through with diagnostics. I wasted not just money but time off work. I would not recommend.

Our water heater went out on Friday evening December 28th. Our home warranty had one plumbing provider available in our area -- Copher's Quality Homes. That provider told me: and quot;we don't get paid to work weekends for American Home Shield, so we just don'tand quot;. Even though we would have paid the extra for after hours work, the home warranty provider wouldn't come out. Since it was a holiday weekend, we were looking at not getting service until Wednesday January 2nd. Completely unacceptable!! So, after researching on Angie's list, I called Nick at Trinity Plumbing at 10:30 on Saturday morning and YES, Trinity Plumbing does work on Saturdays!! By 3:30 Saturday afternoon, Bobby with Trinity had made TWO trips to our home, replaced the thermostat and heating element, and stuck around to make sure we had hot water. RE: Copher's: Copher's previously did a toilet line repair for us in April 2009. Exactly one month later, I walked into our bathroom and was standing in water -- the toilet line leak was still occurring, and our entire bathroom had to be gutted as the subflooring underneath the tile had begun rotting and was molding. It took us months to get our bathroom back. I won't recommend Copher's to anyone, and have sent a written complaint to the home warranty company.

We had them come out because we had a pipe that was leaking. We had to shut the water off to our house and we had a sick 1yr old. They said that it wasn't covered under our home warranty that we bought and that they couldn't fix our pipe without pulling up the whole bath tub. We were also told that the pipe couldn't be capped because it was connected to the supply line. The man said that he would get us an estimate. After waiting several days of having no water and no estimate with a sick baby, we contacted another plumber and he came out and capped the pipe so that we could turn our water back on. He also said that it should be covered by the home warranty because it wasn't the diagnosis that Cophers said it was. It has been a week and still no estimate. For all they know... we still don't have water.

Lied and tried to get out of the contract by saying it was something else wrong with the water heater. How come he didn't diagnose that problem in the beginning then? He's the one that diagnosed it as a faulty water temp gauge, put a new one on and then said it wasn't that problem then wants to say it was something else all along. Give me a break. He is a cheat and scam artist. Don't hire him!!!!
Description of Work: Put a new temp gauge on water heater. Didn't work. I paid only 60.00 because the "home warranty" covered the rest. I do not trust these clowns.
