Description of Work: We moved from Bella Vista AR to Houston TX. The estimator was great. He provided a very good quote and then even brought over boxes for us to pack. We went with a fixed price bid since in the past I have been burned by hourly movers. Budget was able to accomidate. I also had quotes from the "national" movers and they were higher, with lots of hidden fees. Also, to help my wife, since this was a big move I decided to have the areas like the kitchen and garage packed by them. | |They showed up on time with a good crew. What was disappointing is that they showed up with a truck that was far too small even based on what their estimator said. However they started loading and completely filled one truck and had to go rent a second. They took forever to pack and did not leave until hours after they were scheduled. Good think I had to fixed bid! | |I was impressed that the owner came out to the house to ensure everything was going well. I felt that that kind of attention was good to see. | |everything seemed ok until we arrived in Houston. When they opened the truck it was obvious nothing had been secured. It looked like a pile of boxes in complete disarray. The crew that arrived was not the high quality crew that packed the trucks. Again, glad it was a fixed bid. | |Although all boxes were clearly marked, and my wife and I directed each box to the right room, it was amazing how stuff was just stashed wherever. | |Months later and we still haven't found some of the items they packed. I was also amazed at the way they packed the dishes. my wife told them to wrap each plate but they just put a stack in the box. However they also packed bread. yes bread. It was worse than a science experiment once we unpacked that box. | |All in all, I would use them for a local move for sure. But absolutely not for a cross country move. The price was very fair, but the packing and loading of the trucks was for the birds. The estimator was great. He knew his stuff and nailed it. The owner was quality minded, but it appears he needs to closely monitor his employees. that is why I would recommend for a local move, but not a cross country.

Description of Work: When they quoted the job they said they would send two trucks and four men and arrive at my house at 8:00 AM and would be finished by 1:00 PM. They arrived at 9:20 AM with one truck and two men. They said numerous times during the day that the other truck was on the way. I called my contact on two different occasions but received no return call. He did call later in the day to say that the other crew was tied up on another job. The second truck did arrive around 6:00 PM. They finally left the new residence at 8:30 PM. |I will have to say that the two men that did the grunt work were excellent. They were polite and were very careful with every item they handled. |The owner did agree to an adjustment on the price but I would have preferred to pay the full amount and had the job finished as promised.

Description of Work: Mover is not equipped for an out of state move. Had to rent a 3rd party moving truck. Was flat out told they would be drive one of theirs and the owner of the company would be driving it. Both statements were inaccurate. Paid for packing, but some items like our mattress was not adequately protected before being loaded. Unloaders were not very professional and struggled with coordinating entry of goods into new residence. | |Bottom line: I would not recommend this company for any move out of state.

Description of Work: Moved my totes and some furniture from my 2nd floor apartment in Centerton to a house in Bella Vista.

Description of Work: Friend had a large, heavy dog house (200-300 lbs) custom built for when he had a Great Dane but now that I have one he gave it to me for free so long as I could move it. With that said I didn't have the time or means to move it but this company provided me the quickest turn around at the best cost quoted.
