Owner is greedy and refused a partial refund when we moved claiming some BS email that we never received. Do not use!! This company is not honest.

"Ace" technicians sprayed pre-emergent herbicide on our existing 30'x20' Vinca minor beds. It killed off a third of the plants and stunted the rest. Josh admitted it was a mistake. But he challenged my claim that the 'damage' was caused totally by the spray and said that he thought it was due to "winter stress." Never had 'winter stress' before (and winter of 2016-7 was mild). Unfortunately, I did not have a photo of the beds to show Josh the 'before-after' caused by his crew's mistake. Josh would not not re-plant the beds, and instead assured me that the plants would "bounce back" if Ace "put some fertilizer on them." He did not charge me for the pre-emerge treatment. After one year, my beds have not come back---instead they are stunted and sparse. They look like nothing is planted there. Seriously, my neighbors ask "what happened to your vinca?" I am no longer using Josh and Ace to treat my lawn. My advice is to always take a photo of your yard and beds before you let somebody work on them so that you don't have to depend on someone to take your word for it.

Unfortunately the result of that treatment has been the total decimation of our front lawn. The people are very nice but after hundreds in treatments over the last couple of years they said we would need to re-sod our entire lawn. Why keep treating it for so long and making it worse? The wild grass in my backyard is better off.

Gentleman came in and diagnosed the problem. He sprayed the bee's and made sure they did not have a nest, checking every nook he could find. The bee's have not come back and it's been over a month.

Treatment was very effective on a Bermuda lawn . I plan on using them for other periodic services.

I liked them. It's pretty average. They're responsive.

We had just moved and called the provider we've used for years to come out and give us a quote on our new yard - it's in pretty bad shape. They quoted us an astronomical price, so we shopped it around. We love that AoB is local. Service has been very courteous and prompt. They were very up front with us that we would see minimal impact at the end of the season, but that every little bit helps. We can already tell a difference. Between the great service and a fair price, I think I've found my new favorite lawn service. Definitely recommend!

They call before each service. Return my calls promptly and answer any concerns I might have with good advice. Also all employees are very courteous.

Josh with Ace of Blades was great. Responded to my email within 10 minutes. He came out and to do a quote the same day. They always give me a call they day before so I can make sure my dogs are inside. The lawn looks great now!

Josh has provided very good service for my lawn care the last two years. I book annual service, Josh completes all treatments and the yard looks great.

They did an good job of apply chemicals and our yard was ok - green, a few weeds. Our only issue was with notification - we had to ask multiple times to be called and emailed the day before chemicals were applied. They had a bad timing issue of always applying the day before our lawn mowers came and that affect the efficacy of some of the treatments. We asked for the notifications so that we could warn them if they were coming before the mowers.

I was pleased with the punctuality of the service and the knowledge of the owner.

After talking and pricing lawn fertilization/weed control with other companies, it was an easy decision to pick Ace of Blades. We are always contacted prior to treatment and if something changes we are notified. You are not pushed to purchase services that are not necessary or needed. Extremely helpful & trustworthy , which gives us peace of mind!

They do an excellent job. I've been using them for three years.

The price was $35 per treatment. They were great. The weeds are gone after the third treatment. I have a friend of mine who for the city of Bentonville, the town that we line who manages the greenery for the city for the city of Bentonville. He referred me to them. I will use them again in the future.

These guys always deliver with professionalism and I trust them to do what they say, (even a little above and beyond), without prompting. I have used them for two years now and I don't plan to use anyone else.

I purchased my first home last Fall and have little to no experience with home maintenance, lawn care, etc. The best I can say is that I had mowed some lawns as a kid growing up. The house I purchased has a small front and side yard that had obviously been neglected for a few years. The grass was thin and patchy with plenty of weeds and areas where there was bare ground. I didn't really want to go with a big name company as I've heard mixed reviews on them, so I took a chance when this fellow placed a door hanger on my door one day early Spring. The deal was for 6 treatments at $25 apiece. There was a 10% discount off a full year of service if paid in advance, which I took advantage of. Based on estimates provided, unsolicited, by the bigger companies, this was on par, give or take $5. Now the year is winding down and I can honestly say I have nothing to complain about. The yard is coming back nicely, and I expect things to be even better next year. All of our communication took place over e-mail, and I have yet to meet the owner, Josh, but he has been quite accommodating. I have also not seen his truck and have no clue as to how large a company this is, but get the feeling that it is likely a very small operation with only a handful of employees. One good example of my experiences was a slightly unusual request I had. For the early part of the season, I had no locks on the gates. However, a neighborhood watch program was set up for the neighborhood and one of the major recommendations was to put locks on the gates to the yard. As such, I determined a way to do so and installed padlocks on both the front and back gates. Of course, this prevented Ace of Blades from being able to enter and treat my side yard, and they were unable to perform a treatment on my side yard one time. I e-mailed Josh to notify him of this change and asked him to please notify me when he was coming to the neighborhood to perform treatments so that I could unlock the gates. He was happy to come back the next day and get the side yard that had been missed b/c of my new padlocks, and after some minor grumbling, he has consistently e-mailed me a day or two ahead of time to warn me that he was coming to the neighborhood so that I could unlock the gates. I can't really complain about any of this. Also, there was one extra treatment of the yard that was included free-of-charge as we've had an increase in a particular type of weed this year and, as a preventative, he hit up all his customer's yards again, unscheduled. Nice touch. In short, I'm going to be using him again next year and, so far, have no hesitation recommending Ace of Blades.
