Jeff was our repairman. Jeff was on time and his work was perfect. Jeff found problems we had not noticed and he fixed all of them. Jeff really cared and made sure he did the job right. Jeff never made a mess. We will be calling Handyman Matters of NWA in the future for some other projects.

Jeff is fantastic! We have used Jeff for all of our handyman work around the house. He is extremely professional, punctual and does quality work. This time we were in a bit of a hurry to get some minor repairs completed before we left for out of town. Jeff came 3 days earlier then scheduled because he had completed another job in the area early. He said he wanted to ensure he could get everything done timely. I can't tell you how much that meant to us for him to come early to make sure everything could be completed. Thank you for everything Jeff, we will miss you! Handyman Matters has always been an A+ service provider for us.

Estimated a job, it was not my lowest bid so I used someone else.

Sean showed up on time. He was professional and courteous. He let me know how the job was going to work. Even though the job was a bit bigger thatn they thought, they stayed with the original estimate, Very good company to work with. I will definitely use them in the future.

He was here an extra day. It took longer than estimated. But the job was done right so I'm very pleased with the end result.

These guys are wonderful. Ken came out and provided an estimate for various jobs that I needed doing. He always calls to verify appointment and is always punctual. He installed a vent fan/light after someone said that it would be too difficult. He installed 2 towel racks that I wasn't willing to attempt because I had new tile where they needed to be installed and he installed them perfectly. He fixed a switch on a jacuzzi tub that ended up saving me over $2000 because at least 2 other people had told me the tub wasn't worth fixing and would need to be replaced. Yet, one hour of his labor and it's running just fine. I will use them for various other projects that I plan for this fixer-upper that I recently bought.

When I called them, I talked to a gentleman there who represented himself as being in the local office but I found out that he was in the call center somewhere else. He told me some things that turned out not to be true. Also, there?s a coupon that I got that they would not allow me to use. They told me they would take it and they told me they?d give me my money back and I never heard from them again. When they told me on the phone, it was good but when I submitted the coupon, they told me that they weren?t aware to add any coupons and didn?t know anything about coupon. I just won?t use them again. The handyman that they sent out, I have no complains about him but everything else was just a disaster. He did fairly good doing the job. As far as the local franchise, I wouldn?t use them again. 10/2/2013 - It is disturbing that Handyman Matters claims to have no record of my business. On the other hand, I do have records to verify my business. Furthermore, I requested that Handyman Matters apply their Angie's List coupon to my balance due, but they refused. To date (one year latter) I have not received a refund.

Talked to 2 people and was told somebody would contact me to adjust my cabinet doors. Nobody did. Maybe if you buy something from them, they'll show up. Otherwise, don't believe them when they say they'll help.

I called to get an estimate to rehang an interior door, renail boards for my privacy fence, reattach baseboard moulding and review an exterior door for repairs. I was able to get an appointment for the following day (less than 24 hours). Jeff arrived on time. We took a quick tour of the items to be repaired. Two hours later, I had two working doors, moulding that looked almost brand new, and my privacy fence boards reattached. Sounds simple, but one of the doors had been severely damaged, and I was expecting to have to replace the entire door. Further, Jeff looked at ALL of my posts on my privacy fence (not just the three I had asked him to look at) and renailed ones that were about to need assistance... all in two hours (including a trip to Home Depot). I can not say enough about Jeff and Handyman Matters! I will use them again and again and again!

The actual response time and detail of the quote was very good. However, their prices far exceeded other quotes I received. I ended up going with a different company and received actually more service for less than half of the Handyman Matters quote.

I have been using Handyman Matters for over a year, usually the same person comes because I request his services because he does an excellent job. Whenever they have to send someone else they are just as good. I have been more than satisfied with their services.

We found rotted wood underneath the siding above the garage door. I could not have done this job alone & hired Handyman Matters to have help with this project. Roger of Handyman was definitely a GREAT help. He & I removed the rotted wood, replaced the wood & replaced the siding - all without having to take the garage door or jam down. This was a 2 day job in extreme heat AND all the work was above our heads!! I definitely needed his help. He was great to work with and had the knowledge needed to do the job correctly.

Performed work as estimated. Estimate was for 3 trips and he came back a 4th time with no extra charge. Ceiling work is not easy and there is one spot that could be smoother. Otherwise satisfied.

They are really good, and did a good job. I would definitely use them again. They are professional, take care of your place, and do what they say they are going do. They quote you the price before they work. They are a good company to deal with.

Mike was not just on time but early for a 7AM appointment. He was extremely professional and courteous, and wore shoe protectors when entering the house so as not to foul the flooring. The job was done in 1 hour, even with Mike having to get a replacement outlet. At $45 to appear and $75 per hour, the price was a bit high, but I knew it beforehand.

We used them. hey were very prompt. They gave great service. They did exactly what we needed them to do. I would give them top marks. I will be using them in the future.

The price estimate was a bit higher than other estimates we received so we did not select Handyman Matters of NWA. We are impressed with the level of professionalism Steve and Kari presented and will consider getting bids from them in the future should we need their services.

Jeff turned up exactly on time. He ripped out the toilet, some tile and the carpet from the guest bath. He put down a new backer board (which I hadn't thought to buy) and tile I had purchased and grouted the floor and then placed the new toilet. He was very professional and courteous, laying tarp over the carpet leading to the bathroom and cleaning carefully when he finished. He took off the baseboards and replaced them when done. He listened to my concern about a vent under the vanity and dealt with it so it would be removable in the future. He did a lovely job on the tile, laying it out brick fashion the way I wanted. I would have Jeff back for work in my home any time.

Quality of work was excellent. We used this company on two different occasions: First the entryway, and then the bathroom. Scheduling snafus caused delays in the first job. On the second job, the cost turned out to be $245 higher than the estimate. If you are going to use this contractor, make sure you get a detailed estimate up front in writing. In my case, there was a disagreement on what the upfront estimate included, and I got surprised by the bill at the end of the job.

Showed up exactly on time. Very professional. Fixed siding quickly with no problems and reasonable price.

The gentleman came and looked around, gave us an astronomical guesstimate, and said he would absolutely get us the written estimate we needed. We never heard from him again. Never. It's a shame. My dad had recommended the company to us after he had good luck with them. Guess we just got a dud. :(
