Description of Work: they cut out a piece of carpet in front of French doors and replaced with tile. They also put a piece of wood trim around the tile. the cost was extraordinary because I was not informed they put a 50% up charge on top of anything they purchased from Lowes for the job.the workmanship was average but the people are very nice to deal with.they are prompt and courteous and that means a lot to me.

Description of Work: Originally wanted to hang a large tv in living room, I realized myselfthat there were no studs and when the little old man explained how he would go about hanging it I got really worried and changed my mind about hanging that one and just switched tvs to other rooms. So all they did was move tvs around and charge me a trip charge of $45 plus $25 to move them. They may be better in other sevices, strictly handymen for maybe other things.

Description of Work: This company has done some little things for me. The big thing that they did was there was a gap between my home and garage. They worked with my husband to seal the two together. That service turned out fine. The work was done in phases, but the actual work took about a week and a half. The workman were great, but I did have some issues with their office.

Description of Work: Installed unusual light fixtures requiring attic work, purchased and installed high quality vent light and reworked several outlets. Sounds high priced, but work required was unusual and specified,vent light was costly.

Description of Work: I needed to get a variety of things fixed in my mother's house in order to have it ready to sell, and the handyman addressed all the issues completely and took care of them in a timely fashion. He was very professional and polite, arrived on time, and had the expertise to fix all of the dozen or so issues I asked him to work on. It was a huge help to me, as I am not able to climb ladders or do any heavy lifting--nor would I have even known how to fix many of the items on my list. The process took several hours, so I think the fee charged was in keeping with the quality of the work and the time it took to accomplish it. I would highly recommend the services of Handyman Matters.

Description of Work: Handyman Matters of NWA did a small remodeling job for our laundry room. They removed a sink, installed replacement floor tiles, put up two shelves, and repainted the laundry room and adjacent bathroom. I would use Handyman Matters for a similar project again as they did excellent work.

Description of Work: Mark w/Handyman Matters of NWA arrived as arranged EXACTLY at 8:00AM both times he came to my house. During the first visit he determined that the area of the "Fold & Lock" wood flooring that was water-damaged could not be repaired with the flooring that I had ripped up. He then removed some adjacent flooring so that there was a straight starting point at the old flooring with which to match up the new flooring which I needed to order. I purchased nearly identical flooring at Lowe's and when it arrived at the store 5 days later, I contacted Handyman and arranged for Mark to come back to lay the new flooring. He did a FANTASTIC job of matching up the old flooring with the new. He also replaced all the baseboard I had ripped up and the result is that it is nearly impossible* to tell there was ever a flooded & ruined floor. (*The new flooring was a slightly different shade of "natural oak" and that, of course was not his fault!)

Description of Work: Repaired around a 10" x 10" hole in sheetrock. Required 3 visits because of curing times for the drywall mud and texture. Matched the wall texture very well. We already had the correct color paint. After job was complete, couldn't tell where the repair was without close inspection .. which is the evidence of a job well done. Also realize that the price was a flat repair charge up to a 4' x 8' area. Mine just happened to be small. Fair charge vs. me trying to do it and then calling them anyway to fix my repair.
