The price was good and they were always on time. They made great time and provided good service.

My Sub-Zero stopped cooling 11 months ago. A-tech looked over the system and replaced the evaporator and dryer. At a cost of $1000, they said it should run another lifetime (15-20 years). It stopped cooling this week. A technician from another company looked at it while he was here looking at my washing machine. He said the condenser was pulling .2 amps, and the inside temperature was almost 65 degrees. He said there was probably a freon leak that wasn't addressed when the condenser was replaced. I called A-tech, and they said there was only a 90-day warranty on the previous work, and I would have to pay for another service call and labor. There is no sense of responsibility to check out what might not have been done that should have been done on a very expensive repair. There is also no sense of customer service. I am very disappointed and will not use them again.

I left them an email from the Angie's List site on a Sunday. They responded that evening that they would call on Monday and they did. The woman who called was very friendly and organized and got all the information (make, model, serial number) of the stove so they could have the part available. She said someone would come Tuesday afternoon and she would call later on Monday to give me a 2 hour window of when they they would come. This also happened. The repairman came when he said he would and fixed the oven. We later got a detailed invoice emailed to us. We were happy with their efficient use of technology and their general professionalism.

I contacted A-Tech Appliance based on reviews I read on Angie's List. I called on Thursday afternoon. The person I spoke was very friendly and professional. She explained the process and said she would call me by Friday afternoon to set up an appointment. The appointment was scheduled for Monday morning. The technician called to let me know he was on the way. He checked my washer and found out it was the switch that controls the speed of agitation. He explained the cost and that the part would have to be ordered. I received a call from the office Tuesday afternoon letting me know the part was in and they wanted to schedule an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. It did not take long for the technician to switch out the part and he tested it to make sure it worked. The technician was very nice and respectful. I will used this company in the future and recommend them to family and friends.

I called they came out within 2 days, gave me an estimate. I determined from that point to have it fixed or not. This is a rental property. I was not there. A-Tech has always taken care of my repairs. Very honest, reliable and quick.

A tech came out the day I called. Very professional. He explained the problem in detail. Came back three or four days later and replaced the water heater.

Loved A-Tech! Very efficient, professional, timely, fairly priced, quick and knowledgeable about appliances. Would totally reccomend and will use again.

I called them late Monday night and left a message. They called me back first thing in the morning and scheduled me in for that Thursday afternoon. However they had a reschedule by another client and moved me Wednesday afternoon which was terrific. Our repairman was on time and quickly pinpointed the issue. He had the part already and quickly fixed the problem. We also received pointers on how to make our washer last longer. All in all a terrific experience especially for one that can be stressful. We would definitely recommend them and use them again. Hopefully, though, we won't have any further issues...

I called because my dishwasher wasn't getting the dishes clean anymore. I was told the service fee was ~$80 and no additional work would be performed without a written quote. We set up an appointment for Friday afternoon. Thursday afternoon I got a call asking if it would work for them to come that day between 4 and 5. I was delighted. Then I got a call from the service tech at 3:30 saying he'd be at my house in 10 minutes. As I wasn't home yet I asked if he could wait on me til 4. After a long explanation of why he was running early he said he guessed he could wait--sounding rather put out about it. I was able to rush what I was doing and arrive home early--just minutes before he did. He was very polite and professional when he came in . As he got to looking at the dishwasher he spent the better part of 30 min explaining to me that it looked like nothing major was wrong and we needed to scrape the plates better and run hot water first. I was pretty frustrated with this information and he was very patient in explaining to me all the whys. As he continued examining the dishwasher he discovered that the top arm wasn't spinning and set to work figuring out why. He was able to find and dislodge and clog and was great to explain to me each step along the way. In the end he got it spinning again, ran it on a power cycle with some vinegar and Lemi-Shine (that he sold me) to help cut the grease. At this point he told me the total was $130. The service fee, the cost of the Lemi-Shine, and the additional cost of his time fixing the dishwasher. This frustrated me as I was under the impression that he spent that time trying to figure out WHAT was wrong and it was therefore covered under the initial service fee. Later that night when the load was done running, I emptied the few items that had been in and found one glass horribly dirty. The other items were clean though so I decided to run it a few more times and see what happened. As it stands now the dishes typically come out cleaner than they did before the servicing but not as clean as I expect. I have been very conscious of scraping dishes and running hot water so I am feeling some frustration over the lack of stellar improvement. Because of the miscommunication encountered both with scheduling and the cost I have been reluctant to call service company back. So I can't speak, yet, to how the company would handle a follow-up.

He determined that the controls were broken and recommended that we purchase another dishwasher as it would cost $495 to repair and the original dishwasher probably cost less than that. He further explained that most dishwashers, regardless of cost, generally last 3-5 years. Therefore, he recommended that we purchase an inexpensive one and toss it when it no longer worked. He also explained the pros/cons of ultra quiet dishwashers and energy efficient dishwashers. I was very impressed that he took additional time to educate me in an area that I was unfamiliar with.

Went very well, he new exactly what he was doing, was very polite and worked efficiently.

He was on time & had a good diagnosis. At first he thought it was a different problem, but then diagnosed it correctly. However, this company charge $85 to do a service call, but fix nothing. Whatever they fix is an additional charge.

The technician arrived on time, put protective booties on his shoes. He diagnosed the issue with my washer, which was leaking onto the floor, and I could not find the source of the leak myself. Although he came prepared with parts for my specific model, the particular part needed had to be ordered. He arranged to come back three days later with the part. Again, he arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and repaired my washer. It is working fine. If I have appliance repair problems again, this company will get my call.

The service technician arrived on time and performed services to an acceptable level, but he was rude.

They did an excellent job. They are persistent, they had to come back different time. He was very responsive in questions that I had. I was very pleased with their service. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

My top oven has not worked in almost a year. I called out another repair company about 6 months ago to check it out. They told me that the parts would need to be special ordered because my oven was a model that was discontinued. Plus it was going to take several weeks before the job could begin. In addition the price estimate he gave me for repairs and parts was more than 75% percent of what a new oven would cost. Just recently I decided to give it another go and found A-Tech on Angie's List. They sent out a technician named Ricky Stutts who told me within 20 minutes what the problem was. The price he quoted me was less than a third of what the previous company had given me. In addition, Lo and behold the parts that had to ordered by the other guy and would take days or weeks to come in were on Ricky's service vehicle and he got to work right away. The oven worked fine upon completion of his work and all told he was in and out in a little over an hour. The only negative was that the original service tech that A-Tech had scheduled to send over got sick. They had to reshuffle their lineup and they ended up coming out about 2 hrs. later than our originally agreed upon time. But they did call and explain the situation and offered to reschedule for another day if I couldn't see them at the later time period.

Would definitely work with A-Tech again!

service tech was late to start with, was past the desiginated 3 hour windo they had given, I had to call into the office to see what was going on, Receptonist kenw they were running late but failed to call me and advise. She had to call the tech to see how much longer he was going to be and then called me back. They ended up being 2 hours outside their window time. I asked for some sort of compensation for their lack of advisement and was told the owner refused to adjust anything. Once the teck did arrive he was able to disonise and call in the order for the parts. Took 1 week to get the parts and installed. No further issues with the installation repair.i will not do business with this company again as they are unable to keep the appointment scheduel they set up and failed to notify the customer they would be late and if needed to rescheduel. very very poor customer service. I work in a customer service field and would have been fired if I let a customer go unadvised of a service tech running late.

Dryer repair went very well. Parts had to be ordered and it took a couple of days to get them in. Repair was prompt once the parts came in. Dishwasher estimate was too high. Repairman recommended we just replace the dishwasher. However, it is only about 4 years old, matches our other appliances and the color is no longer available, I don't want a mishmash of appliance finishes, so we will eventually repair it. We have elected to just live with the noise until my husband can order the part and do the repair himself. Paul Dilks is the technician who performed the service call. He was polite and seemed knowledgeable in his field. He left the area clean when he finished.

They installed the equipment and it worked perfectly. Great team.

Arrived when scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. The part had to be ordered and so he had to come back to finish the job. Everything was handled as promised and he gave me all the parts removed. Invoice was sent via email right away. Very pleased with the overall professionalism and work.
