2 weeks turned into a month and a half. Sure there were some additionally paid for modifications along the way, the real reason being though was lack of a team. Assurances of a landscaping team when finalizing contract never really materialzed. Owen's Son Preston was a one man show, dedicated and focused, but the only reliable up and coming landscaper. It soon became evident that landscaping was new to the company. Any other workers that showed to help Preston were less experienced and seemed bettter experienced at grass cutting, not a project of this scope. Several thousand dollars extra was spent on shade king zoysia sod that was underestimated in the original bid. About a 100 yd patch of sod died shortly after placement, Nicholson Landscaping was unaware sod company had a policy of replacing sod if it died. Owner stepped in and spoke with Winrock, replacement sod secured for this Spring, however Owner found out that Owen Nicholson has decided to get out of the landscaping business. Owner witheld $1000 from $22K final billing as a precaution. That was a good idea as the re-sodding needs to be hired out. After a rain, standing water remains in the backyard. A lawn service company has been hired to treat sod for weeds - Nicholson Lawn services is not licensed for chemical applications.

I have had no problems, he does a few different properties for us, like clockwork

He's extremely dependable and does such a fantastic job. Practically our entire neighborhood is using him now! I have nothing but good things to say about him, and I'm a very hard person to please!

..They have always done a good job. Very dependable. The owner, Owen, has always been easy to work with. Sometimes, they would come when I was not at home, and they would let me mail them a check for payment. I have used them for several years now and will continue to use them in future for my general lawn care.
