He was really thorough. He took a lot of time and showed up probably 15 homes. His understanding of the paperwork seemed to be upfront. he talked to us away from places a couple of times because of various things. He told us it was our choice but also pointed out what he didn't like. He became very friendly during the whole time he was doing the whole thing. Within 3 weeks afterwards he is done with you. We had questions here because the people didn't leave the keys and there were things that were supposed to be done but they weren't. The only negative thing, and I don't know if it was his fault, when we needed a home inspector he suggested a fellow who gives a military discount and we used him. He did a walk through and missed so many things or he saw them and didn't attribute them as being a problem. Now we are having to fix them and hire a structural engineer last year to come in and look at how bad it could be. It has led to more repair work and foundation repair. Gale didn't do it but it was the guy he recommended. In hindsight we learned you need a structural engineer to look at your house not a home inspector because the home inspector could have less experience than you do. He was a nice guy and did notice the stuff but he was so inexperienced that he just didn't recognize the potential problems. Gale was very thorough and went the extra mile for us, he warned us off the places he felt had issues. He is very responsive, if he can call you back or come over then email you. He was very professional, friendly and punctual. He was very very friendly and then he pulled back. We really thought he was going to become a friend but he did his job and moved on.
