+ -1 moreIt took a couple of visits to determine the actual problem, but Mike and the guys were diligent and patient. Mike called me back after the first visit to see whether the problem had been solved and waited to run my credit card until he had checked. It turned out the initial fix hadn't solved the problem, but they stuck with us until they found something that worked. They didn't charge us for subsequent labor calls, and charged us fairly for the parts. Our unit is ancient, and I was afraid we wouldn't be able to fix the problem without buying a new one, but they really tried to help us avoid that. Everyone at Mike's was pleasant and professional, and we would definitely call them again in the future.
Description of Work: Replaced thermostat and replaced the switch in the unit that triggers the blower to come on.

+ -1 moreMike's HVAC replaced some rusted pipes, built a platform for the new install in our somewhat leaky basement and replaced some old duct-work (ALL unplanned) and still completed our install ahead of schedule and within budget! In years past, when our old unit needed service/repairs, we have ALWAYS received prompt, same day service. AND his guys aren't scared of my dogs. There is no one else I would EVER consider using.
Description of Work: The sales, installation and service provided by Mike's Heating and Air was outstanding! While we didn't have to replace our 20+ year old unit (also purchased from Mike), it was obvious we would need to soon. His service technician said we could probably last another 2-3 summers, we wanted to replace the heating and air unit before summer was upon us.
