Richland Commercial Masonry

Richland built a new double mailbox, after a car crashed into the existing box.  The house is brick with some vinyl siding as well and the mailbox was brick.  I decided to go with stone and also replaced the siding on the house with matching stone.  Rich recommended that I visit the shop that provides stone rather than trying to choose from a photo in a brochure.  The ship had all colors and designs on display.  I made my deision told the people at the shop which stone I chose.  Rich then contacted the shop and provided the measurements.  They arrived on time on the day work was to start and finished in a timely manner.  They cleaned up any debris.  After the mailbox was done I realized there was no flag on the side.  They came back and installed a flag at no additional charge.  I am very pleased with the outcome of the project and would definitely us them again.

Stone and brick chimney had cracks running down the corners and stone had fallen off the front section onto the roof. Original builder used poor quality materials.
After a pretty thorough review, the owner presented a plan to replace the damaged section in such a way that the appearance of the chimney would actually be improved and the structure would have more flexibility so there would be less chance of future cracks appearing.
Richland's team of workers took off the stone/brick on all 4 corners of the chimney, replaced the tyvex wrap and metal mesh support along the corners and put new brick up.
The loose stone/brick was re-attached to the front section of the chimney using higher quality materials.The team also patched up various spots around the house where there were cracks/crumbling in the exterior masonry, improving overall appearance of the house.
The job took slightly longer than originally anticipated (2 weeks instead of 1) due to extreme heat one week and storms the following week, but Richland's team was on the job site working whenever possible. They were very professional and once the job was completed they cleaned everything up promptly. Scaffolding was removed, all debris was cleaned up, they replaced some childrens play equipment that had been moved, even scrubbed the masonry dirt/dust off my windows.
The finished project looks wonderful. I like the way it looks better now than the way it did before any damage occured.
