This company was professional in every step of the process. They showed up when they said they would, they were pleasant to deal with, their estimate matched their bill and the work they did was perfect.

Prompt on time, had to climb tree to cut because of location. Team of 3 very carefully cut, lowered and removed the limbs and trunk of tree. Also did extra limb removal work that was requested once they arrived...did so with no complaint, added to the bill as was expected to be.They were excellent being in such a tight spot, large tree. Very professional climber, cutter. Brought their chipper, hauled everything off did a very good job of clean up.

Existing reviews pointed us to Raines Tree Care for service. David Raines returned my call and came to "take a look" within 24 hours (I had left him a message on a Sunday afternoon). Though his schedule would typically have had us waiting for several weeks, because of the storm-related damage he moves customers with more urgent needs to priority status. He and the crew (2 additional men) scheduled the work just two days out. We were so grateful for that, as the danger of further damage and personal injury were undeniable. Our property is rather steeply sloped in back to the lake, and is a rock landscape as well, so not an easy work area. Hard work hauling all that up the slope, around the house, to the street. They worked safely, professionaly, timely, with attention to our property and neighbors as well. David, who is a certified arborist, took time to examine the other red and white oak trees for possible storm damage as well....all are fine; also discussed the drought situation in regard to the trees on property, and the outlook for the tree that was damaged (it will need some ongoing care, over time, to care for the area where new branches will sprout). We think they did an excellent job at a fair price, and certainly were timely as well. We plan to call them for some winter pruning sometime December-February. I should also mention that while he was here doing the estimate for us, he willingly looked at damage for two other neighbors (just across the street) and was able to schedule them the same day as us.........of course saving him additional trips, but nonetheless he generously took the time to visit with them and schedule the work.

I would score them high across the board and I would use them again in the future.

After a horrible experience with a well known tree "service", I got smart and found David Raines, a cdertified arborist. If you don't know the difference between a tree service and an arborist, please visit The International Society of Arborists http://www.treesaregood.org/treecare/hire_arborist.aspx. This is how I found David. He offered a free consultation, but more than that he showed a concern for the health of my trees. His communication skills are exceptional. I wish I had called him in the first place. He recommended a general plan for a landscaper to help my trees be as healthy as they can be after being over-pruned by the first tree service. As per current industry standards, he does not use spikes. This was a hard and sad lesson I learned from watching the prior company. David can give you more information on why spikes injure trees. He gave me a written plan of action, which I have referred to and in the middle of implementing. If you are looking up tree services here in Northwest Arkansas, you probably know how bad the weather was in 2011 with record snows, historic floods, and a summer draught with 3-digit temperatures, Some trees didn't make it through all of this. His in depth knowledge of trees and sincere concern for them sets him apart from other better known local companies. He is the only tree expert I will now be calling on.

We called for an estimate. They came by as promised and gave us a written quote, as well as the name of someone who could grind down the stump once the tree was removed. Once we'd gotten all our quotes and decided on Raines Tree Care, we called and schedule a date & time to have the work completed. They showed up on time and got right to work removing the tree. By mid-afternoon they were completely finished, including cleaning up all the leaves & debris. We were very please with our overall experience, and if the need should arise for a Tree Service again, we will definitely call them.

Extraordinarily polite. Punctual, Impeccable cleanup. Speedy. Reasonably priced. I'm running out of good things to say. My neighbors were so impressed that they immediately hired him to do two trees in their yard. And the man across the street hired him to do theirs as well.
