This company is amazing. It really was a seamless process.

They couldn't do it on time and I was in a rush.

They were very knowledgeable, professional, and very prompt. The price was a little high. I'd rather go to the private contractor that I chose.

A little mix up on paint colors but nothing that affected the time frame of the project. They worked hard and were done in a day and a half. Cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.

I was able to schedule the work ahead of time. They were very thorough with their estimate, showed up on time, were very clean and very efficient. We think the work looks amazing and we're especially pleased with the work done on our kitchen island - it looks like a new kitchen.

From start to finish:A++++++++ Found Mary's Painting on Angie's List one Sunday. Left message on their answerphone Sunday evening. Received return call Monday morning before 11. Estimator came on Tuesday, gave bid on both an exterior job and this interior job. Estimator proved to be very practical with helpful recommendations. Bids were amazingly reasonable. Scheduled for the following week, The snow-ice storm set everything in the area back two days, and they came on Saturday. When I say they, it was actually 'he'--Andy the team member who came showed the wonderful combination of personable, efficient, and professional. He manifested amazing speed, but never sacrificed quality. In every single detail, we were satisfied beyond our expectations. We both recommend Mary's and will use them again!! Way to go, MARY'S PAINTING!!!!

Paint looks great, feels fresh and now that all clean-up is done we are enjoying our new decor. Removing ceiling popcorn is a very messy proces, creating goop which dries to very fine dust that clings to everything. Celing team was careful but I'm glad we had taped drop cloths to furniture and monitored wood floor protection. From first contact with Ginger for an estimate, during the process with teams of painters, through various contacts with the office we found everyone cooperative and helpful. We have recommended Mary's Paining to friends and will call them again for future painting projects.

I have seen their trailers in the neighborhood and read the reviews on Angie's List so I decided to choose them after receiving an estimate. Two younger guys came out to do the work. As they were packing up to leave, I went through to inspect the work. I asked the one remaining worker to touch up some spots that were either missed, or where the paint did not cover the spackling that they used to fix some of the cracks. It was clear that they did not inspect their work prior to preparing to leave. After they left, I discovered some areas that needed to re-touched. It looked like they did not attempt to blend the newly painted areas of the ceiling with the area that they just rolled as their were clear color differences. They did come back out a few weeks later (while the newly hired paint crew was performing the rest of the work that I wanted done). I explained that I was not happy with their work and that is why they did not get the remaining part of the job. Ginger was apologetic. Since that time, I have noticed the poor job that they did in matching the paint on the bedroom ceiling. Again, you can see that they did not attempt to blend the old and new paint. They also did not mention or explain that new paint should be purchased despite the fact that I gave them all of the paint codes. I understand that unless you paint all of the wall, there can be issues matching the paint but I have been touching up areas of my walls for three years and if you make some effort, you can do it. They did not appear to try to feather it out. Maybe they were hoping that I would notice the issue and pay them to paint the whole thing. I would not use them again nor would I recommend them. You can find better work for the money. I did.

I submitted an email request for a call for a quote. Months have gone by and no call, no email response at all.

I wanted to get my garage painted before the weather turned cold. We had used Mary's before and knew they did good work at reasonable prices. Robert came out on October 15 to give us a bid. When we called back the next morning to schedule, he told us they had just had a cancellation in our area and that the painter was nearby and could be at our house within minutes. I accepted the offer and, true to Robert's word, Josh was at our door before we could start emptying the garage. He helped us finish up and, since I already had the paint on hand, started right in on it. He filled in all the nail holes and took care of any imperfections he found and had the entire garage primed and painted with two coats before the end of the day. I'm very particular, and Josh listened to me and knew what I expected. He was very courteous and professional and did an outstanding job - he didn't even leave any spots of paint on the floor or driveway. I would definitely use them again.

They came out to give me the quote, but it was two times higher than three other ones I got so I did not use them. It was a good experience. She was very professional and did a thorough job. She typed up the quote neatly and I was able to understand it. I did not understand what she was talking about with my cabinets and how she described the process. I wanted them stained darker and she said she could not stain, but she could do glazing. I am not even sure what that is so I don't think that was explained thoroughly. Everything else was really good. If I used her in the future I would have to negotiate price.

Very knowledgeable and responded quickly to my request for an estimate. They were booked solidly for about 6 weeks and told me that upfront. The price was more than I had expected but the estimate was presented in detail. The contractor that I used for this project was in line with the quote they gave me and could do the work in the time frame I needed.

Left a message and never received a return phone call

I had used them when we purchased our home in 2010. There was one room in the house that was painted a color that I could not live with. I called Mary's painting to see if they could get that room painted before the furniture for that room arrived. They ask the size of the room and gave me a quote. I accepted the quote and they had someone out within a couple of days. After the painter was done, Robert, Mary's husband called me and said that it would be less money than he had quoted me, because it did not take as long for their painter to complete the job as they thought. So when my house flooded, I requested that the insurance company use Mary's to restrain the woodwork that was damaged in my home. It turned out beautiful and matched the existing wood perfectly. They responded within three weeks for that job. But when I called them to do that job, they told me that it would be three weeks due to other bookings. I have them booked to strip and stain my double front doors in October of this year. I would be happy to give you my experience with that job. So far I believe they are an excellent company to do business with. Linda Thompson

We were very pleased with the work and professionalism of the workers. I have told friends about Mary's and how pleased we are with their work.

They did work for the interior painting a while back and I have quote for exterior painting but I haven't use their service yet for that. They were good. They were very easy to get hold of whenever I call them and get hold of them right away. They were able to fit me in really quickly even though I know they are really busy. Their crews are really friendly. They clean up at the end of each day. They were very thorough with the estimate they provided and the fact they were able to do it in various time periods that they were available and efficient to do the work.

My experience with Mary's Painting went very well. They were very good. They were very professional and did a great job. They did accidentally paint one room the wrong color. They apologized over and over and came back and fixed it for free, so that was no problem for me. They repainted the whole thing for free.

Their price was reasonable. Everything they did was good. They were punctual.

This was a couple of months ago. They are great people. They are really nice. They do very high quality work.

They said that they used paint from one company. They used paint from another company of our choosing. Painting was finished on time and clean up was very good. They did not raise the price over the estimate. Over all very good job and would reccomend.

Mary's did an amazing job on our paint job. Their staff showed up on time, was extremely polite and professional, and when finished the job did a walk through with my husband to make sure we were satisfied with the job they did. We are very happy with the results, and will be using them in the future for any other paint jobs we need.

We have used Mary's Painting many times and have always been pleased with the results. They are punctual and professional and always leave our home just as clean as if we were doing the painting ourselves! We changed the color of our hardwood floors and the handrails and trim no longer matched or blended together. Mary's Painting came up with a solution which didn't involve much sanding (or moving out of our home) and they look just as good as new! We plan to continue using them in the future.

I had heard that they do great work so I contacted them. The estimate was very high so I did not end up having the work done.

This is the second time we have used Mary's Painting and both experiences have been great. I called for an estimate to paint one interior room which was 10.5' x 11.5' with a 16' vaulted ceiling that has 3 wood stained beams to paint around. The room also includes a large window framed in stained wood along with stained baseboards. A week later they arrived to look at the room and gave me an estimate in writing. I was satisfied and set up the job for a couple of weeks out, however they were able to move me up and came early which I was very pleased with. Andy showed up right on time and after taping all the woodwork and sealing it to assure no leakage under the tape, proceeded to put on two coats of a light paint required to cover the dark color previously on the walls and ceiling. All totaled it took about 6.5 hours from start to finish. Mary (owner) came by to inspect the work and make sure I was pleased with the results. Everything was great and Andy helped me move the furniture back into the room. I couldn't have been more pleased with the job. The price was fair, the workmanship excellent, they are all extremely friendly and professional and honest. I highly recommend Mary's Painting!

On time, on budget and no runs, drips, or errors
