Description of Work: Put in heat pump and new thermostat.Had an issue after install and they had a man right out to check what was wrong. The next day they had the part and fixed the issue . It was a true test of the customer service and I did not pay until I was satified with the work . I would use them again if I have the need and have sent friends to them .

 + -1 moreIt was a hot day today for replacing and air conditioner and furnace unit. However Kinty Jones was prompt and completed the work as described. They arrived as expected to replace our old furnace and air conditioner unit. We had the original date as one in September, however, on Monday of this week our old a/c unit died, and I called them to see if they could do it earlier. They came out, started and finished the job in one day. It was after dark when they left, but the house was already cooling down. All the guys working on the units were completely professional, not to mention strong since the pad for the a/c unit was up 4 feet in the air. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who is needing heating and/or cooling services.

Description of Work: Kinty Jones was contacted to service a two year old air conditioning unit that was struggling to keep the house cool. He found the unit was low on refrigerant and and added enough to restore normal cooling.

 + -1 moreThe workers were unfailing polite and careful of everything around my house. My favorite example is when they came in to pull out the old furnace and install the new, they were careful to remove all the pickures from any walls that might vibrate and cause the paintings to fall. They were constantly cleaning up after themselves, and keeping the workspace organized. This is also telling- They had already evened the ground for the location of the outside unit, and were prepairing to make the final connections, when my wife came home for lunch and did not like the way the unit was turned or placed in relation to the house."No problem" was the response and the ground was reprepaired, the concrete mat moved, and unit resituated to comply with my wifes wishes. We had good air by 2PM that afternoon. We have had to call twice for small matters, once some condensation forming where it shouldn't. That was promptly repaired. Second the factory coil turned out to be defective. They were here in less than an hour, but because it was after hours there was no available patch. However before 9:00am the next day they had returned to put in a temporary coil while the factory coil was shipped in from North Carolina. The reason i mention this is because we have a Rheem-Ruud plant here in Fort Smith, and you would think parts would be available locally. We are currently awaiting the Coil, (maybe its the Compressor, doesn't matter because this is about Kinty Jones Company, not some part).That part is due to arrive on friday the 24th of Sept. and I am absolutely sure that the moment it is in one of his employees hands it will be on the way out to my house to be installed efficiently and accurately.
Description of Work: OnJuly 4, 2010(a holiday) our 12 year old air conditioner went kaput. I tried to contact several of the larger companies in the area and got recordings(we hve great lakes for fishing and boating around here). Kinty Jones was the only person to actually answer his phone and was here in less than an hour. Since everything was closed for the 4th a Sunday, as well as a holiday, there was nothing Kinty could use but whatever "stuff" he had in his Truck. He was able to make a patch sufficient to get us through to the next day. Since the sere value on the old AC was so low we chose to go with a newer more efficient unit instead of repairing the old. Kinty gave us a firm quote. As time and the work (on the 5th early in the day) went on he discovered other problems that would impact the total effect of the A/C. The roof exhaust fan had been set improperly, set to go on at 85 degrees, here it should be around 105 degrees. He replaced the unit at no additional cost. He found that I really didn't have enough insulation in my attic and added quit a bit more, at no additional cost. From a financial point of view, this impressed me more than anything.
