Cole Plumbing

Description of Work: After leaks started occurring throughout or home, we discovered that polybutylene plumbing pipes had been used when the house was built 22 years ago. We were advised by our imnsurance company that we should expect ongoing problems until we had all the water lines replaced. Since our house is built on a slab, this would require a complex rerouting of the entire water system plumbing. The first price quote we received was $5,000 to $8,000. Another estimate was $4,500. The Cole's Plumbing estimate was $2,400 and when I wondered why it was so much less, I contacted a local plumbing supply store for references. They told me that many homes in this area had been built with this "Poly" material years ago and that Cole's plumbing was one of the first company who started replacing them. Andy Cole also gave us a complete and thorough demonstartion of the materials and parts that would be used and gave us the best guarantee. Additionally, he was personally on the job from start to finish to insure quality control and our water supply was only turn off for about 3 hourse during the final switchover. Another company told us we would be without water for several day and that we might consider checking into a hotel during the process. Cole plumbing did the entire job in 2 days and we were in our home the entire time with very little inconvenience. The workers were all cordial, polite and even corrected a couple of other little side issues without charging more than the estimate. And in all cases where fixtures could have been salvaged from toilet, sink and outdoor faucets, Cole Plumbing replaced everything with upgraded quality. I am retired from a profession that found me residing in several states over the past 50 years. I have owned many homes during that time. I have never been more satisfied with a plumber.
