Description of Work: Contacted Mr.Robertson twice by phone,was told that he would try to come out to assess a roof leak that we had and go over the roof overall to see any potential future problems.Was told he would be here on Wed,1/18/12 when I was home and he was in a nearby local town.(he lives about 35-40 miles away.) He never came to the house,then,I called him the next day and he said he would be here later in the afternoon.I had errands to run and I dropped some of them in favor of being at home when he arrived.He never showed up,never called.He never said at any point to me that: he couldn't get to the job,it was not a large enough job for him,whatever the reason might have been .He just put me off for 2 days in a row,when I could have been trying to find another roofer instead.Not a very fair or professional way to treat a person IMO.

 + -1 moreThe work crew was here at first light on Friday morning. The timing between the quote and performance was a little over three months. However, there was some general roof damage in our area from a strong summer storm and I know of some other homeowners in the area who were told in July it would be late fall before they could get to them. So I cannot really judge the delay, I do feel it was somewhat excessive. Regardless the work crew of six went to work, stripped the roof, inspected the roof for rot, replaced sheeting where necessary and shingled the home by the end of the day Friday. They finished the garage on Saturday and were done by noon. Excellent work and I feel a fair price.
Description of Work: Mr. Robertson quote replacing the shingle on my home and my shop. The home was $3500. the garage $1910. The work was done on a Friday and Saturday, they completed both roofs by Saturday at noon. There was some rot repair required on the home and extensive replacement of wood on the garage. The quotes were firm, I did pay and additional small amount to have a wood end on the upper story replaced, but that had not been included in the original quote. Mr. Robertson worked right along with his crew, cleaned up very well afterwords and was professional in his dealings. I strongly recommend him.
