Description of Work: I needed to have work done to my Electrical Box . I thought that the box needed to be replaced. I needed a socket that needed to be fixed as tif you turned the light on it shocks you. I also needed all the colors of the outlets to be changed to white. He changed the outlets and said he fixed the outlet that was shocking me. They sent a second man out as I called and let them know that the outlet was still shocking me. When the second guy came out they let me know that he did not fix the problem but told me that he came out and changed the color of the outlets only and the box was not broken just pushed in and not broken.

They do an assessment of the problem the client called us out for as well as a safety inspection to make sure your electrical system is safe to work on. We book in two hour windows and guarantee the electricians arrival with in that time frame. The service fee for our 2HR window is $79 and guarantees the electricians arrival at your home within that two window in a fully stocked truck prepared to make any repairs right then and there plus includes a safety inspection of the clients electrical system. Once the electrician determines what it will take to make the repair he gives the client options for repair in writing. We back all work with a 5 year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee. Ms [Member Name Removed] called to schedule an estimate to replace her panel and had some outlets not working as well as she wanted wires in the attic checked. This call was scheduled on Dec 15, 2016. We do not charge a service fee for an estimate for panel replacement. Scottie did a complimentary safety evaluation of her electrical system and noted all issues and went over with her. She authorized him to replace two switches and 1 duplex outlet and cover. On Dec 21, 2016 she called back saying her kitchen outlet was shocking her. The electrician determined that the shocking she was feeling was from static electricity and not from the outlet. I felt they took advantage of me because they knew I was in a bind. We had an inspector coming and I lived three hours away so I could not be there during the time of the work. They charged over twice as much as two other electricians quoted that came in after the work was completed. I called and spoke with the owner. The owner stated they charge more because their products are better quality and no one else has every complained about the price. The owner also said they train their employees weekly and they charge all of their customers the same standard price. He also emailed me their standard pricing form and an explanation of why they charge what they do. Then the owner said I was out of luck because I authorized the charge. The electrician also quoted me very high to replace my electrical panel, the other two estimates were half the cost.
Description of Work: A previous contractor found our dryer line was burnt and needed replaced. They installed a new outlet and dryer line.They installed a wire across the garage into the breaker box.

They were prompt, efficient, and courteous. I received a call aproximately 30 minutes prior to arrival of repairmen; they wore uniforms and a picture ID. Did complete electrical check of home; recommended a newer, larger circuit board, but worked with me in reparing existing ones and correcting some mistakes on prior installation of switches. They had a detailed price list, with each service, what it included, and amount to be charged clearly listed. I was able to choose services ahead of time and not be surprised by added costs.they phoned day after service was done to make sure that I was happy, and to see if I had any additional questions.

The house was built in1926 and still had knob and tube wiring that was worn. Electric solutions completely rewired the house and garage and did so without tearing out the plaster walls. They were punctual, hard working and very professional. They even cleaned up a mess Moore Roofing made in the attic. I would not hesitate to use them again. It was a bit expensive but it is worth it knowing we will be much safe in our home.

The lights in my kitchen flickered then went out. The lights in my kitchen, dinning room and laundry room would not work. All the outlets and appliances worked. The lights were the only things that wouldn't work. The repairman found the problem. There was a problem with one of the wires between the breaker box and laundry room. He had to reroute wiring to get my lights working again. I was very pleased with this company. I will recommend them to everyone.

They had a scheduling conflict, called in advance and informed me of the delay and told me there would be no service charge because they were late. Of course I liked that! They gave me an estimate at 1:00 and they had totally replaced my breaker box and 42 breakers by 7:30. Their work was top notch and they will inspect your home for faulty equipment like I had. I had them inspect my shop because there are classic cars in it and I had the same condition there. I had them come out the following week to replace everything in my shop. They aren’t cheap but I would use them again. I have signed up for their annual check.

We purchased a home in late 2010 that needed a little fixing up. Nothing major, the house was built in 2003, but needed some changes nonetheless. I signed up for Angie's List because we are new to the area and I was leery of hiring professionals whose reputation I was unfamiliar with. In this case, Angie's List paid off. Electric Solutions, Joey, was a FANTASTIC choice. I had my first appointment with Joey for 4 ceiling fan removals and re-installations. I called their number and their gals in the office were more than polite. PLUS, and being that I have dogs that need to be secured I especially appreciate this, the office staff called me 15 minutes before Joey's arrival just to let me know that he would be their soon. Sure enough, he arrived on time and was extremely professional. He even goes so far as to wear the covers on his shoes to make sure he gets nothing on your flooring. He took a look at the fans I had purchased, surveyed everything, and then went over the pricing sheet with me. He was very clean and there were no hidden fees. Once we agreed upon everything he went right to work. He did a phenomenal job with the fans and even hauled away the old rickety ones for us. Mid-way though the fans I asked him if he would mind installing a new kitchen chandelier that I had been given. He was more than happy to do so and the installation on it is also perfect. He cleaned up everything entirely, including hauling off the boxes and cleaning up any dust or ceiling material that may have fallen. One of the girls from his office called a bit later to make sure everything was up to par, which I said it definitely was. Also worth mentioning, Joey offers a one-year contract that gives you 24/7 priority on all electrical needs, but also gives you a free electrical inspection. He mentioned this to me, but was not pushy about it at all. In my case, the plan actually paid for itself with the 10% discount if gave me from my total cost.To update, about a month ago I had Joey back out to install lighting dimmer switches on all of the fans he had installed and to do our electrical inspection. I called their office, told the girls that I needed a little advice of which switches to get, and not an hour later Joey called me and told me exactly what I would need to pick up from Lowes. Same as the prior service visit, I was called 15 minutes before he arrived, and then after he had left to make sure all was well. I really enjoyed Joey! He has a nice personality. He isn't pushy and does not try to monopolize your time. He goes about his work in the background- I watched a movie while he was here. WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND HIM TO MY BEST FRIEND!

I called Electric Solutions on Monday morning. We made an apt. for Tuesday morning. The office called 15 minutes before the apt. to say the technician was on his way. He was very prompt, neat, and professional. He assessed the situation, and gave us the cost estimate to repair our under cabinet lights. Then he left to go back to his shop (with the lights) to repair them. (The shop is less than 5 mins from our house.). He returned before he said he would and replaced the lights quickly and efficiently, within the cost he quoted earlier. He was very friendly and professional. Shortly after the technician left, the office called to assure we were happy with the work completed. I was very happy with Electric Solutions. I already have some other things I need to have fixed in my home and I'll be calling Electric Solutions.

Overall the experience was a good one. The service technician that arrived to our home was very knowledgeable. He broke the service estimate down for us and was very specific about pricing in relation to the services that they were going to provide. As a result, we were able to look at the entire process and decide for ourselves, which portions of the service we could accomplish on our own (therefore saving money) and which services cost how much. In the end, we had conduit run from the house through a ground fault circuit breaker, to a switch box then finally to the hot tub. We chose to the 50+ foot, 22 in. deep trench ourselves (which I later somewhat regretted) but it saved us $900 in costs. They even explained in detail, why it would cost so much for them to do the trenching vs. the homeowner (licensed contractors are responsible to the utility companies in case of inadvertent damage whereas the homeowner is generally not). So we rented a Ditch-Witch and went to town (after checking with the elec and cable co. to ensure no issues/no gas lines to this property). After two or so days of rain (go figure, right?), they came out, relocated a couple of breakers in the box, installed the new breaker, and ran the conduit, switch box, and hot tub, to power. No muss no fuss. My ONLY comment on areas that might use some polishing is the office practice portion. Before I called them, I looked up their website. One of their selling features (per the website) is that you get to speak with a REAL live person vs. the automated garbage you typically have to deal with these days. So I called and got... an answering machine. This is during normal business hours, mind you. So I leave a message. I got no call back. A day (I think) later, I call again. Someone answer but it's someone who is not able to either set up and appointment or answer general questions. That person is out but will return my call when she returns. No call back. On roughly the third day, I get hold of the individual that I need to speak with to setup a visit and estimate. The rough spot seemed to be over after that until the rain came. We lost another potential day due to what could be considered a misunderstanding. After the rain, my newly dug ditch was filled with water. My wife called them to tell them this so that they didn't end up coming out for nothing. She was told that they would be out the following day at the same time we'd arranged for the original appointment. I left work a little early to be there for the install. No Show. I called and was told that the arrangement had been made that my wife would call THEM to schedule a day/time to come out if/when the ditch had drained of water. My wife was very specific about the appointment arrangement and we'd discussed it before hand, to have them come the following day. In a nutshell, I think the office needs to take better notes and follow up on those notes. The service and quality of work provided by the technicians was top notch. I would also add that they went above and beyond in that, the hot tub was not positioned ideally for the electrical install. Their solution is clean, safe, and serviceable, required a little additional work, but no additional cost. I'd have no reservations whatsoever about recommending this company to a friend. My only suggestion would be to call them yourself and confirm their appointment times at the beginning of each day to ensure there are no communication problems.

I received a call 10 minutes before arrival time and he was there 5 minutes before time. Billie introduced himself, put on "booties" . He performed the inspection of the every room in entire house. He then proceeded to replace the ceiling fan. He was very thorough and explained everything that was needed for the house. He also explained the city codes and he was very knowledgeable. I will definitely call them for future work. They are expensive but worth every penny.

The contractor came and gave us an estimate which we accepted. He came and completed part of the work, but disappeared for a period of time, after we had paid him and before finishing the job. He finally did return and completed the work and the overall results are good.
