Description of Work: The electrician was very nice and professional and did good work. The only drawbacks were...he went to the wrong address and I had to call him to come back to the correct house. I was also shocked by how much job was going to cost me...$700 more than I had planned on. This is probably because I haven't had electrical repairs done in a long time and just didn't realize how expensive it is nowadays. The other problem was that he went ahead and billed me for the full $900, not discounting the $200 I had already paid for, and it was billed to my credit card. This was not intentional, of course. I called the company and they were very gracious and said they would correct it...but didn't. I called again, and they were very apologetic and did correct it. It took a couple of weeks. They are very nice people and this was just something that slipped through the cracks, I'm sure.

Description of Work: I purchased $200 of service for $99. I needed a receptacle installed outdoors and figured this would cover it with money to spare. I got home last night and discovered my wife had been charged $355.00--a ridiculous price. |On top of that they sold my wife a $155.88 electric repair plan (which may or may not be a good deal) | |This is the first time I have used Angie's list and I feel ripped off. I would not use them for regular maintenance because of this bad experience.

Description of Work: My husband wrote the check, so I don't remember the exact amount. They replaced a rusted outlet by the breaker box. A new outside outlet/receptacle was installed. A missing outlet cover was replaced. They checked two motion sensor lights. One was replaced and one was adjusted so that people can actually see the sidewalk leading to the front door now. They inspected some other switches and found them to be ok. They did everything that we asked and were very professional. The office called to let us know when they were headed our way. It was a pleasant experience.

Description of Work: The staff was professional and they arrived on time. The Angie's List special included an inspection and labeling of the panel. They completed that work, and they quoted me way too much ($300) for changing the fire alarm. I had a problem with gfci outlet and they replaced it for about $130 including the part, at top of the $50 or so special, the expenses were way higher than anticipated.
