The Cougill tech inspected my whole roof, repaired the obvious leak and several potential future leaks, and estimated the remaining life of my roof.

I called to have a turbine installed on the advise of my heating contractor. Shaun recalled my last visit with him, and he gave me a firm price right over the phone. It took a week or so for the roofer to arrive, but I was in no hurry. It took perhaps an hour, installed correctly, and the gentleman fixed a single missing shingle on the front as well. telephone answered promptly and pleasantly, message passed onto estimator in timely manner. Estimator showed up within arranged time window and work scheduled within 48 hours of estimator's visit. 2 gentlemen arrived on time and did requested repairs in a couple of hours. Invoice didn't show up for nearly 30 days, was worried I was going to have to track them down, but it arrived with the exact amount on the bottom line. Price might seem a little high for the work, however I lucked out on the internet lottery. Top notch experience from beginning to end, and the shingles matched my 3 year old roof perfectly. I had initially selected Cougill because they are a Certainteed contractor and the initial installer as in the wind (of course).

Punctual, efficient, good cleanup after job. Fixed an unrelated problem several weeks after the roofing job quickly and completely.

I had a hole in my roof and needed repair. Insurance was contatcted and paid for a new roof. This was one of the more expensive estimates we received but was able to bring down some to within range of the other estimates. The job was done on time (over 4 days). Each day the crew showed up and cleaned as they went. The roof was never left uncovered at the end of the day (it was done in pieces so no large tarp was needed). Very professional and honest. Would have it done again.

I called this company to inquire about roof repair, since I have a leak. The receptionist took my name and info and then never got back to me. Obviously they don't want additional business. This is the second time we have had this experience with Cougill (my husband called about a repair a couple of years ago and got the same non-responsive treatment).

The first thing the company said was that they charged $175 to come and inspect the roof and if I hired them they would deduct that from the price. Like an idiot I told them to come out and inspect. They said they would come out next week. They did not come the next week or the week after that. I called them again and was told they would come the next week. After two more weeks I called again and was told I was on "the list." I asked for a more specific date and was told again I was "on the list." The response was curt so I told them I would find a company that was more responsive. The response I got to that was "Fine, if that's how you feel." The next day I called two other companies and had people out to the inspect the roof for free in a matter of two days. Needless to say, their total lack of customer service and I-could-care-less attitude is a good enough reason in itself to use another roofing company.

C. Cougill Roofing Company is a professional, reliable, and honest company. They did a fabulous job for us. We could not be more pleased. I have recommended their services to many people already. The workers were friendly and worked efficiently.

They did a great job and I am very pleased with the service that this company provided. I would recommend them to anyone because of the quality work that they do. The workers were extremely friendly and made time for me when ever I had any questions regarding the work that they were doing.
