Description of Work: Todd came out soon after my call to him and measured all the work to be done a outdoor fireplace, patio and walkway all to be done in flagstone. On July 8th he returned a bid to me which I accepted. As of today August 29th I have not heard from him. He received a $5000.00 retainer from me on the 8th of July. Needless to say this has not been a good experience. I realize he is busy with other jobs but nearly 60 days is to long of a timeframe for him to begin. As of right now he has not returned my phone calls.

+ -1 moreAgain, on the whole, the work he does is wonderful. His lack of follow-up was disappointing.
Description of Work: Todd rebuilt the brick mailbox structure that had been decimated by some unknown source. He designed it with garden area around it, added some embelishment to it, and added a bigger mailbox insert. However, he forgot to bring a mailbox flag with him, and we have contacted him repeatedly about this. It's been "on order", "in his truck", etc. Although the structure he built is fabulous, his follow-up (or lack thereof) on this last detail was disappointing.

Description of Work: They removed the damaged stuff, and they supplied the brick and stonework. They did all the steps leading up the hill to my house. I had the front porch and patio done also.

+ -1 more.Todd did a great job. He and his assistant were personable, competent, and professional. I called Todd on a Saturday, and since he lives nearbly, he came within an hour and gave me an estimate. He showed up promptly on Monday, completed the work by early afternoon, and did a great job. I'd definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Todd repaired some brick that had broken loose over the entry to a crawlspace. He has also reset some brick under a window that was not pitched properly and was funnelling water back toward the window.

+ 1 moreIt all began months ago when we started house-shopping in a neighborhood where the homes are generally older (built in 1920's and 1930's). Todd consulted with us on several different occasions before we even made an offer on a house. He was very patient and willing to look at different houses and answer our questions not knowing whether we would ever buy a house and actually need his services. Once we finally purchased a home and talked with Todd about doing the work, I was a little nervous about paying him so much up-front. However, I checked the references Todd gave me and we went ahead and paid him for the materials. He and his crew were considerate of our new neighbors as they did the work and consulted with us appropriately as the work was completed. The finished fireplace really looks great, and we look forward to cold weather when we can sit by a roaring fire! Overall, Todd is a trustworthy brick mason who does excellent work and will treat you right.
Description of Work: Todd Robinson and his crew tore down our old fireplace and chimney (gas logs only) and built a new one (wood-burning).
