A-1 RAZORBACK FREIGHT COMPANY

Rather than giving my opinion of their service I decided to just relay my experience with them and let you make up your own mind. I needed to move a radio tower, not a common thing for home movers so I was calling around the area asking if different companies would help me out. I had a couple of very high prices quoted. Since this is a personal use tower and not commercial, of course I was looking for a good price. Well I called A1 Razorback Moving and explained the requirements. The tower weighs 1,100 pounds so I told him it would take a minimum of six strong men. After discussing the particulars, where from and where to, he quoted me the price of $350.00. I told him that that was acceptable and as soon as I had everything lined up I would call him. He agreed. About three weeks later I was ready to move the tower so I called to schedule the move. He then told me that the price would be $515.00 because it would require 6 men, the same six men that were needed for $350.00. Since now I was under pressure to get it done I agreed and we discussed which day was best for him. We agreed that Friday July 5 was acceptable with both of us. Well the day came I left early to get the tower lowered to the ground and taken apart for transport. I brought two other people with me so we would have a total of nine men to make the move. Once I had the tower down and the time passed when they were to be on site I called and was told that they were indeed in-route. I thanked him and waited, and waited and waited. It is getting hot in the Arkansas July summer. After way more time than it would have taken them to drive to the location I called again and got a voice mail. I asked them to call me. I?m still waiting for that return call. I called again and again but only got voice mail. After three hours I left a message telling them that I was not happy and it wouldn?t be a good idea to use me for a reference. I still have not heard from them. I was left with half a day and the tower on the ground and I had to move it. It was a holiday weekend and just no way I can find anyone on such short notice. They just left me in a bad bind and it was very expensive for me to get the tower moved, both money and stress. My feelings are that if they didn?t want to do the work then why did they agree to do it? Why did they tell me that they were on the way when they were obviously were not?

They were terrible. One of the movers threw up on the couch. They said they were going to repay me for the cleaning, but never did. I sent them the necessary information to repay me and I never heard anything back.

Razorback has a good reputation in this area. Their name comes from the sports team. Many people at my job have spoken extremely highly of this company as well. They go the extra mile to please their customers & charge reasonable rates. I do not remember the rates of this company but I will comment that they are reasonable & affordable in general, which appeals to people in general. Plus, you are getting quality services. Word always spreads about that in local communities rather rapidly.

This company is just great. We were really impressed. We got a great price for the services rendered and we felt really good about this choice of companies that we found using Angie's List. They do quality work and could not have treated us better. They helped make our move stress free and affordable.

A-1 Razorback Freight Company did a great job packing and unpacking. Nothing was damaged, broken or scratched. They did a good job sticking to the schedule and getting the job done. I was really impressed with their work. I was comfortable them out here and the way they were working. I trusted them. They did an awesome job.
