I went well.

D & G was contacted about helping with an armadillo that had taken up residency in the yard. A technician came a few days later and did not care to meet with me to show him where the animal was getting in and out of the yard and proceeded to place a trap in a very old and established flower bed with a 10 year old hydrangea bush that was mangled by the tech. The real fun began the following morning when I received an early call form the tech asking me if we had “got anything”, so I checked the trap and informed him that it was empty. The following 4 days I received the SAME CALL with the same result, I asked the tech if maybe we should try a different location since I was seeing the animal moving in the yard in the evening and he did not think that was necessary. About a week later after no further phone calls to check the status of the trap or trying any other locations the traps were gone and I still had the animal in the yard. I could not help but think how wonderful D & G’s customer service was and how they had helped me protect my property and children.

They came out when they said they would , accessed the situation, and told us what they had to do and about how long it would take them, {with animals and such, you cannot be absolutely precise} and how much it would cost. I really don't have any do's and dont's. We had never had this before and we were perfectly comfortable in letting them do what they had to do. After it was done we had to get the attic fogged because bats sometimes carry other pests such as {bedbugs} so we had that done immediately after they finished.

My little dog detected the opposum one night and it ran into the laundry room which I immediately closed off. I determined how it had gotten into the house and closed that access. But that made it unable to get out, so during the day it hid and at night it was loose in the room!! Each morning I saw evidence that it was there. I tried finding it and trapping it, but was unsuccessful. I called D&G and they responded.

Philip came back the next day, installed two wire cages over the chewed out areas on our home. While he was crawling around the house, he said that he found raccoon droppings above the wire cages on our roof and in our gutter. I was fearful that NOW we had raccoons. He did not think the raccoons had gained entry into our attics, because he did not see raccoon droppings in the attics. Phillip suspected the raccoons were waiting at the entry/exit point to feed on the flying squirrels. He installed the cages and said he would be back in the morning to check the cages. A week later, after checking the traps daily, he never trapped a flying squirrel. Phillip felt the raccoons had taken care of our flying squirrels. So he removed the traps, installed metal flashing and closed the animal made openings in our eaves. Because he did not have to remove any varmits, he charged us $300.00. I was extremely pleased with his service. I would highly recommend D & G Services.
