Description of Work: Told us we need whole new furnace/ac. |Second opinion confirmed not necessary. |Told us Radon levels were to high to live in the house. They told the previous homeowner the same 4 years ago. Neighbors informed us they are dishonest.

Description of Work: They told my wife our unit was a danger and our house could burn down if we did not replace it with a new unit. | |She called me at work and was very upset. | |We called Service Pro from Angies's List he found a bad relay and fixed the problem for under $50. The unit worked great for another couple of years. |I did not appreicate Bud Anderson's approach of trying to scare my wife into buying a new unit when all that was wrong was a bag relay. | |I have talked to several other people and Bud Anderson told them their units were old and also a fire hazard. | |VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE USING FEAR TACTICS.

Description of Work: The first time I called them they never showed up or called that weren't coming. I called them again and they came. Shortly after they were here had a problem so since we had a home warranty. Called them and they fixed problem.

Description of Work: Did my annual AC check up . Very thorough , they do excellent work and generally miss nothing .

Description of Work: Routine check of hvac, indicated repairs were needed immediately. Chose not to have the changes made, explore other options. Second opinion indicated outrageous cost for small fix.ut for parts that didnt cost much at all. BA suggested replacing whole system. Sent a sales guy to look at replacing whole system. Overpriced for quality of material used (Amana) after consumer reports review and consulting second opinion.

Description of Work: I have used Bud Anderson to install heating and air conditioning in my house. They are somewhat pricier than othes, but they provide consistent high quality service, and provide an excellent maintenance.

Description of Work: I had a maintenance agreement, which provided an inspection twice a year. Everytime one was performed, seemed an $85.00 capacitor was either blown or about to go. There was no specific problem observed prior to each inspection. Eventually I had to replace the air conditioner and furnace. They quoted me a price at about 8,000.00, then dropped it to around 6,000.00. I shopped around and another local place gave me a quote of 3,500.00 for essentially the same thing, if not alittle better. And no capacitors have had to be replaced since.

Description of Work: They came to our house and gave us an exuberant estimate to replace the entire unit. Hubby paid the 100.00 fee and said no thanks. We were told it wasn't fixable. Found a local guy who replaced the leaky coil for a fraction.... To their credit Anderson did refund the $100.00. Bella Vista has several retired people whom I feel certain just cut a check for the estimated cost. I'm not saying they are unethical but I would advise to get a second and third estimate.
