Description of Work: Hvac inspection, recommended replacement of a couple parts, their pricing structure is odd, instead of parts and labor it was a level 2 service which came out $XXX, tried to sell me a service plan to make that visit cheaper yada yada yada.

Description of Work: They looked at my unit and told my wife that it needed to be replaced because it was a fire hazard and was unsafe. | |We called in another company and he replaced one switch and unit continued to work for over 1 year. | |I have talked to several of my friends and they were told the same thing their unit was old and a fire risk and they needed to replace with a brand new unit. Sounds Familiar, just like our experience

Description of Work: They have installed Heating and A/C systems in both houses I own. Little pricey but service is very good and prompt.

Description of Work: Have a maintenance program with them. They service the A/C and furnace 3 times a year. Pay a yearly cost of $189. They had to come out twice last weekend to fix a problem with the furnace. No Charge. Have used their service for the last 20 years.

Description of Work: They came quickly when I called. They seemed to check everything. I can't re member what I paid them. I. Called them in august because the ac Didn't bring the temperature down when it got over 90 outside. They couldn't fix it. Iwasnt a bout to buy a new ac so I just hoped it didn't get over90 often.

Description of Work: Bud Anderson called me to schedule a Fall checkup of my heating system. The technician was extremely thorough advising me step by step what he was going to do. After checking the system and switching the system to the heating mode to make sure everything worked properly, he also checked the thermostat. Everything worked perfectly! He also asked me if I had any questions which I didn't. The service technician was very polite and knowledgeable and reminded me to change the filter frequently. I am extremely pleased with Bud Anderson and would highly recommend them for heating and air installation of equipment, service and repair!

Description of Work: Way too expensive. I have used them before and felt like I was way overcharged then also. This time my wife called them (did not know how much the other visits costs) and again I felt like was overcharged. | |On the positive side the repair person was prompt and very cordial. The work seemed to be done in a professional manner.

Description of Work: They have several different service men. They were all punctual and polite. The plan called for 2 service calls a year, spring to get ready for air cond, and fall to get ready for heat. My problem is that they failed to tell me what had been done wrong in installing my system and that it was wearing out too quickly, likewise they failed to tell me the condition of the condenser, which was on its last leg. Finally, a new service man told me the unit was about 10 years old, and should last about 20, but when it was installed, the old wiring from the previous unit was used, and it was inadequate to allow the emergency heat strips to run, and the installers failed to increase the amperage plugs to 50 from 30 and that was detrimental to the performance of the system. I had the wiring and amperage upgrades done so the inside system could run properly. About that same time, the condenser went out and I was told a tube that could not be replaced had cracked or rusted, and could not be pulled out for replacement. I had another air cond man check the condenser, and he told me the same thing. Bud Anderson's company recommended the whole system be replaced at a cost of $7,000. to $8,000. which I could not afford or finance. They did not offer any alternative. I have learned since then that the condenser could have been replaced at a much smaller cost, and the system could have been put back in action. I fault Bud Anderson's service providers for not informing me earlier that my system was inadequately wired, and that the condenser was so bad. Also I fault them for telling me that only an entirely new unit would work, when that wasn't true.

Description of Work: Pressured us more than once to replace unit that did not need it. Were generally not very honest with what was needed and their cost was way above any other quotes we got. When we changed servicers they told us we had to continue with them or warranty would not be valid. That was completely untrue as it was by that time a manufacturer warranty and not through Bud Anderson. Was reputable way back when was owned by name sake but now I understand they work on commission so press for sales. Bummer

Description of Work: The professionals installed a new heat pump, reconstructed the return air and stamp face grill, reran PVC drain, cut back and capped off copper pipes from old system, sealed all supply dovetails. They also disconnected the old boiler system water supply. They were very courteous, and took the time to answer any questions we had about what they were doing. They treated our property with respect and made every attempt not to disturb the existing landscape outside. Inside they kept their repairs and reconstruction of the system neat, and did not leave debris around their work area.
