Tech. Joseph King did a very professional tune up. I appreciated his help with several other items he addressed at my request. Very polite and helpful. I always request Joseph. He had suggested it was time to replace something on overflow pan, but wasn’t pushy when I asked if I could wait until spring since I usually wait until summer to turn on air conditioner. I appreciated his wisdom and he agreed that waiting until then would be fine. I also had added the electrical Bud Anderson added in the spring, because I wanted to replace my breaker box and address possible unsafe electrical issues. They sent a very professional Duane Swinney who also took care of the electrical issues needed. He also went the extra mile. Very knowledgeable and professional as well. Thank you Bud Anderson.

The you ng man was at my house within 30 min on a Friday evening after 7:30pml. He was polite, friendly and perfessional. He did his work quickly and engaged with the police while I filed a report.

On 3/13 I had a representative from Bud Anderson come inspect my 19 year old Carrier heat pump system in order to quote me a new system. After his review and analysis, he proposed a 4 ton system from Daikin, but without replacing the failing 2 zone thermostat, as he felt the zoning controls were too complex for Daikin equipment to be compatible. I told him I wasn’t at all familiar with Daikin and wondered if they could supply Carrier instead, to which he said they sure could, as well as most other name brands. The next day I told him I wasn’t comfortable with Daikin and not changing out my t-stat and gave him new Carrier heat pump/air handler model numbers I would like to use instead, as well as the existing Carrier t-stat model number so it could be replaced too. I was thrilled when he got back to me to let me know he had confirmed with his manager that the Carrier equipment and t-stat I asked for could be provided and installed and at the same price he had given me for the Daikin system. The thrill was short lived; however, as his manager called me a few hours later to essentially contradict everything the sales rep had told me. He said that Bud Anderson can’t provide Carrier equipment and that a new Carrier thermostat would be compatible with the Daikin system. At this point I was becoming alarmed with what was transpiring and was beginning to doubt the expertise, trustworthiness, and credibility of Bud Anderson and what I might end up with. I said I would consider the Daikin system as long as they provide full specs of all items so I could verify exactly what I would be getting. The manager promised this would be emailed to me by the end of the day, but I didn’t hear back from anyone until the next morning when the sales rep emailed me suggesting we sit down and go over financing and get the project started with the Daikin equipment. I was totally floored at this response and reiterated to him that I would not do anything until I received the requested information. Here is a portion of my reply: “If your company can go forward without any further missteps, I’m still open to considering your offer. The information I need would be spec sheets on the heat pump, the air handler, the replacement Carrier thermostat (exact model number) to be provided as well as the details on warranties provided on all items by Daikin as well as those provided by your company (1 yr 100% satisfaction, workmanship, 1 year no lemons). Also, I’d like specs on the duct work and the equipment pad.” After sending that email to Bud Anderson, I never heard from them again! Seems they can’t take the heat when someone tries to pin them down to specifics. That is a huge red flag when dealing in equipment that is extremely technical and with many similar sounding models that don’t actually meet the same performance standards you might be expecting. I know I will never consider using them on anything in the future, but you can draw your own conclusions if this is a reputable company you would want to deal with.

Mark Cavnaugh was my service rep and he was fantastic. He explained exactly what he was going to do and approximately how long it should take. Explained he would be turning unit on for a while and it might get a little warm but shouldn't be too uncomfortable. He was kind enough to also change the time on my thermostat to the daylight savings time. He was so very courteous and kind. Even asked if I needed anything else handled while he was here such as my garbage taken to the curb as it is trash day. He is a definite asset to the company Perfect job done

I sincerely, DON'T recommend Bud Anderson Heating and Cooling at all. This is my second winter using portable heaters and risking my house with a fire. They not only took my money, they also put my health at risk from the air I was breathing coming out of their unit. Their solution was only more sales after sales. They never intended to fix the problem with the mold found inside the unit and now is spreading all in my crawlspace. Mike and Shannon (employees of bud Anderson) told me that ALL THEIR UNITS ARE OPEN because they need to breath AND will GROW MOLD. This information was giving to me after I have signed their contract for 12 years. When I asked for my money back I was brushed off by their lawyer's letter that I received the beginning of 2017. They do 400 - 600 installations a year and this is how many people are at risk with the mold that grows inside their units and customers might not know the air that they are breathing since Bud Anderson carry all the cleaning mold removal products in their vans. This company is not honest in any angle of the word honest. Their lack of training and lies only shows how horrible and greedy they are. All what I'm going through, their license should be revoke, because the air a was breathing causes emphazyma and this company knew what I was breathing and they didn't do anything about it. This company don't care about your health, as long as they can keep your money is all it matters for them! A lawsuit its been filed on January 16th, 2018 and is a public file.

Bud Anderson has a terrible reputation for targeting the elderly. My own parents were victims. They purchased a "service contract" against my advice. On the last service call of the contract, I told my parents that they would likely damage the unit forcing an expensive repair or total replacement. Holes were poked in the unit rendering a previously working unit totally destroyed. They were given a bid for replacement.
