Bud Anderson Heating & Cooling

It was not a good experience. They tried to push us into buying a whole new HVAC system. It went from a $200 fix to a $12,000 system. I had someone else come in and they fixed it and it worked another two years. The heat pump went out. They did not do anything but the estimate. Overall, it was a bad experience. They did come out quick and when I scheduled a follow-up they were on time. They were not professional.

They did a good work. I thought they are over priced compared to other local competitors. The charge was high for the service they did.

They did alright. They are expensive.

They're very good. Two years ago, they were able to give me instant installation which I needed. It was in the middle of summer. They did an excellent job. They've been doing an excellent job ever since.

It was fine. They showed up on time. They charged exactly what they said they would plus tax and he checked out the air conditioner unit like he said he would. He gave an opinion because it's not brand new and that it should get a maintenance plan which I refused. He looked at our furnace as well, it's not the same manufacturer as the A/C but both are really good manufacturers and that's why he said that we should get a maintenance plan.

They have been okay. I found out later that I think I was overcharged a lot for the heating and air unit but that was because I didn't do a good job of checking around. The service price is okay. They are pretty responsive. I would use them again for service.

It was a really good experience. They are really good. We have a contract with them. They come out and service twice a year. They come out anytime if we have a problem within 24 hours and usually a lot earlier than that. We had ours freeze up one time and they came right out. They were early today. The technicians for today and the other time were very good. We only had to pay for the freon today; everything else was covered by our contract.

They’ve been very good. The technicians are pretty highly trained, qualified and knowledgeable at least from my experience. I would probably use them again because they were helpful and knowledgeable. The prices were very good.

It was horrible. They were slow on the service and never did get things fixed correctly so I had to go to another company to get them fixed.

We've been using them for about 6 years. It has been fine. The quality of their work is topnotch. Every time we've called them, they've been right here. They service it twice a year. Everything worked just really fine.

I have had okay experience with them. Now they come and check out the air conditioner, and if you want freon, it is more expensive. Now they have a special to come and check the air conditioner, and my hands are bad, so they put batteries in my thermostat for free. They do a good job, and I don't have any complaints about their work. They seem to know what they are doing. I would recommend them.

It was fine, but I think they over-diagnosed the problem. The work took place a long time ago, like a couple of years. The technician also left his Bud Anderson work jacket here; it is still in my garage. It has been here for two years.

They were great. They were on time. They had a good price. The person who came was extremely polite.

It was okay and it wasn't a big service. It was good and quick. They were out pretty quick.

My experience was very good. I like that they call me 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time about when they are coming. The day before, they call and reestablish their appointment. The maintenance guy himself calls just before he gets here. I don’t have anything negative to say about them. They are excellent. If I buy the yearly contract I get a discount. They replaced my filters and I don’t have to buy them.

My experience was very poor. He said something was missing from the old heat pump. When we had another company out, they said it had just recently been pulled out. My husband said the insulation was all ripped out of it. The other guy said it had recently been removed and we had to get a new heat pump. We went with a different company to do that besides being a lot cheaper that it was with Bud Anderson. They didn’t do anything for us. They said it would be $59 but it was $79. We were happy with the work we had done otherwise.

It was very good. We had a good experience with them. They always gave us good service and maintained the heath pumps that were in. It was pretty pleasant. They get back almost immediately.

They're good. They do what needs to be done and they explain it to me. They don't do more than is really needed and they give options. The price is fair.

The experience with them had been good. I like them because I was satisfied and they were very friendly. I will tell other members that they should use them.

We can get one of those services where they come a few times a year to do that. They're a little bit pricey.

It didn't cost us anything because we are under service plan with them but the regular cost would be $59. The test the system both heating and air. They looked at all the pipes and drainage and they also got into the attic. It's really a pretty complete check. Their technicians are very good and they explain everything. For the price I wish it was lower but as far as where everybody else is around here for doing the same thing, they were in line with everybody else.

I had a poor experience with them. Our air conditioner had quit working entirely. The technician came out and said that he was going to put 4 pounds of Freon into our system and he ended up putting like 16. It was like $300 I think. Then they charged a crazy amount to even come out and look in the first place and it turned out not to even be what was wrong with it. Whenever I called and told them whenever they gave us the bill and they put on there that they had put like 4 times more Freon than what he said he was going to, they hadn't come back out. He said that he put it in there and then we left for about two hours and came back and it wasn't working again. There was a leak in one of the lines. In the time that we were gone it had all leaked out. Whenever I called, they came back out and they tried to charge us another calling fee. Then the guy said that he had never told us how much he was going to have to put in there, but he had. They were going to charge us almost $3000 to replace the hose or whatever it was that was leaking and we called around and we got it done for $1200, from another air conditioning company. So their prices were outrageous. They did more than what they said that they were going to do, which caused it to cost more. He climbed up on the attic and looked at it and everything and came back down and said that all it was was that it was low on Freon. He said probably about 4 pounds is what it's going to take to fill it up and then it turned out that we got charged for 16. Just for the service call it was $125. Then on top of that was the charge for per pound of Freon. Then they tried to charge $125 service call again whenever they came back the second time. They had given us brochures and all of their brochures they had written on there that they had an A+ rating with Better Business Bureau. So I had to call and threaten them to call and report them to the Better Business Bureau before they would even refund my money. I did get a refund. We had not dealt with them in the past. That was the first and will be the last. He was there when he said he was going to be there. Every time I called them and left them messages they got back to me very quickly.

I tried them once and I think that their technicians were very knowledgeable but I didn't find their pricing to be reasonable. I felt like they tried to sell things that I didn't really need. I did wanted their spring checkups and then they priced out everything that they thought I should have and it was 'astronomical', so I called someone else and got a much better deal. The special for the spring checkup was worth $59.
