He had some other people working for him that would come, spend 30 minutes setting up, 2 hours working another 30 minutes tearing down and then leave. They spent 2 hours of work for 3 hours of pay. The did some supposed minor repairs and painting, but they never finished the painting. There were places they primed and never painted. They painted some of the windows shut. They were supposed to put screens on some of the windows, but they couldn't get them in properly, so they put a nail on the bottom so they wouldn't fall back out. They were going to get them permanently repaired but never did. They primed and painted a set of French doors. When they came back to scrape the paint off of the glass, they also scraped the sealant off, therefore the water came right through the window panes. It leaks into the house onto the floor. The French doors now have water rot. The man was going to do the work himself, but he had the other people do it and he would show up sometimes. He was a very nice man who unfortunatly did not do the work himself. I have a feeling if he had done it himself it would have been done properly.

The finished project exceeded our expectations! Dick and his team were great to work with. They were always punctual and worked daily (full days) until the job was complete. They maintained a very neat work area and picked up before leaving. Their work with quality. They gave us a very competitive quote for the work. They went above the call of duty by offering assistance to pick up appliances. Dick even shares great soup recipes. We definitely will be using them again in the future for other renovation or house maintenance projects. You should use them too!

I called and set up a time for The Home Handyman to come give me an estimate. He was very nice. He came on a Saturday afternoonm August 1, 2009. He said he would be glad to give me an estimate, he would call or email me on or before the next Monday. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I called him and left a message asking him for an estimate. I have also emailed him. I have had no response.

Very accomodating, friendly folks. Always came when promised. Came back to double check after the end of job in case I found anything that needed to be addressed. The place looks great. I have used Dick and company to paint our kitchen and our downstairs in the past.

I had damage on two ceilings because of water leak. Over the course of several days Dick's assistant Tom prepped and repaired the cracks and smoothed out the surfaces. The popcorn texture was restored to the area and made to match the existing ceiling. Both ceilings were then painted by Dick and the results were excellent. Tub/shower were recaulked and weather-proofing on the doors completed.

He was very punctual, very neat and we felt he had a good sense of what was necessary in order to completely replace our living room ceiling. He subcontracted out the work on the trim and mudding. Everything was cleaned up really well.

Dick was very professional and very prompt with his work. He also told me the price upfront. He was very reasonable on the price for the work he performed. He did a great job of replacing the wood and matching the paint. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

The Home Handyman did a great job of installing the shelves for us. We had bought the shelving unit ourselves but never had the time to install them. It was very helpful to have them do it for us. Now, I can keep all my things organized. I have used their services before and have always been pleased.

Dick, the owner has done all sorts of jobs for me over time. The last time he was repairing the front porch floor. It turns out underneath it was all moldy and full of mildew, it is a 12 foot long porch. He had to tear it down to the rafters and replace the rotted wood. Then there was some damage to the wooden carport from a squirrel. It had gnawed a big hole in it. He had to rip that out and replace as well. Finally, he then patched a spot in the roof where I had water damage. He is a good worker who can really do it all.
