PROS - Initial call I was given a suggestion for something to try myself before scheduling a service call and saving the expense. When that didn't work...the appointment was scheduled quickly on a Thursday for Friday afternoon. Provider called before showing up to confirm someone was home Provider was on time / at the beginning of the estimated time window. Polite and respectful while there. Worked quickly (about 15 minutes) to determine that the problem was in the supply line and not the shutoff valve that I had reported was the problem. CONS - Took one look at the toilet and said that it was really old and they usually don't 'fix right' and it would just be easier to install a new one and they would install it for $198... I opted not to replace the entire toilet and they changed out the supply line. I had an Angie's List Coupon for $25 off....was told the coupon didn't apply to 'diagnosis' where the coupon had no restrictions or fine print to that effect. Was charged $96.25.....paid in cash with no change available. Ended up paying an even $100. Overall comment: Nothing terrible about this service call, but seemed a little off putting to be quoted the 'cadillac' price for a complete replacement rather than fixing the problem. When we asked to just fix the problem they did so, but didn't accept the coupon from an Angie's List member. Paid in cash with no change....so an even $100 instead of a possible $75 (with coupon) for approximately 15 minutes of labor and one toilet supply line. I would probably use this provider again, but I would advise of the coupon ahead of time to confirm if it would be accepted and make my decision then whether to make the appointment. ******** 7/1/14 Update ******** Received call from provider apologizing for this service call. Full refund was given of $100. I wasn't necessarily asking for a full refund, but it was considerate of them to 'make things right' based on how the service call transpired. Open communication (and willingness to satisfy a customer) in this case goes a long way with me. Throughout this experience everyone associated with this provider were professional and courteous. I would recommend this provider to anyone needing their service. Thanks very much for your time and efforts.

Very pleased they arrived on time and explained what needed to be done and what it would cost up front. They went above and beyond what needed to be done including fixing another service providers mistake at no additional cost. When the job was finished they did a complete clean up. There was nothing for me to do .I am a customer for life and will recommend this company to all my friends and family.

The primary contact was Zak who was the team leader for this complicated job. Zak understood what needed to be done, was a great problem solver and he and the team had the technical skills to ensure a quality job. They were great!

They reset hit water heater and taught me how to do it myself next time. They were looking after my budget !

The techs needed to order two parts for two sinks that were putting out only hot water. When we called for service, they said they could send someone the following day, they actually showed up the same day. Parts have been ordered and will install as soon as they arrive.

He was on time friendly and fixed the line.

We had a clogged toilet and there was no one available to come out for two days. So we chose a different vendor. We will call again if services or needed but not for anything urgent.

They were good. They did a great job. They were very efficient. They'll come up when you'll call them. They were pretty flexible. Their punctuality was good.

Perfect and quick! They do not do outdoor hot-tubs. I was told they would look at it, but they didn't specify in or out. I'm very happy with the sink! Works perfectly!

Was able to fix one of them himself, but needed to replace one. The technician was very relaxed and friendly; very thorough and willing to explain the best way to use the Rainbird system.

I had low water pressure on my kitchen faucet. The service tech replace some pipes under the sink and informed me I would need an additional part to possible fix the problem. He gave me an estimate and suggested I buy the part and call them back if I need the installation.

The guys did a good job on the cleanout. They were unable to make a definitive diagnosis on what's causing the line to clog because they didn't have a working video camera to inspect the line. But they were very helpful with information and recommendations, and patiently answered all of my questions. It's an old house with old plumbing and I always have a lot of questions.

I will definitely use Lusk Plumbing again.

Right on time as promised. I am totally satisfied with this experience. Had we not been in immediate need of this service I would normally shop around a bit more & may have considered doing the entire job by myself (with help). My only reason for not marking "A" re: price is that I'm not sure what this particular unit retails for. Based on what little I know the price was at the least reasonable. Thank you, that's my story & I'm stickin' to it.

The plumbers showed up on time. Came in and got right to work. They found the problem quickly, and fixed the issue. After the fireplace was working again, they explained what happened, and how to operate the system.

Called Ray Lusk Plumbing on the evening of Wednesday, Jan.29 and person answering the phone said that they had an appointment slot available for the next day at 8:30 a.m. which I agreed to. The following day, Aaron and Brian showed up right on time and immediately went to work. Not only did they perform the standard line snake, but actually crawled under the house to make sure that there were no other issues going on either before or after the snake operation. They also noticed an issue with the configuration of the pipes under the sink that contributes to the efficient draining of water in a two-basin system with a garbage disposal installed and wrote up an estimate for what it would take to fix this. In the meantime, they tested the sink after snaking the line and it drained like a champ. I am extremely pleased with the service and will call them when I am ready to have the additional work done. I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors!

Never been happier since he cld have ripped me off 4 a lot of Money cuz due to the flooding that happened when that seal broke I thought the worst. All leaks fixed n dishwasher now running perfect for 200 less 25 coupon from Angie's list. Great!

We had to have the pump put in right after we built the house because there are natural springs on our hill. When we started making a flower bed, the water started building up under the house when it rained, so we put in the pump. When people started building across the street, things got worse especially when it rained. I think the pump did well for having to work do hard, but alas it wore out. These guys really tried to fix it. The poor old pump was just worn out because of the volume of rain we'd had. When they figured that out, they waived the consultation fee and just charged me for the pump and putting it in.

I returned home from work yesterday to the sound of rushing water and a half-flooded living room floor. The pipe had broken from the outside faucet back behind my living room wall. A neighbor helped me to find the water turn off valve and I cut off the water, my immediate concern! The technician came out within the hour, calling to tell me when his arrival was imminent. He stayed about about an hour and replaced the pipe and faucet. Although he had to cut the drywall in the living room to get at the pipe, he only cut as much as he needed. He cleaned up neatly. I did have to pay the $75 after-hours fee, but I was happy to do it if it meant that I could have my water restored the very same evening and not have to miss work to take care of it! Someone once told me this about home repairs: There is fast, cheap, and good, but one can only ever have TWO of these. Ray Lusk Plumbing is GOOD and FAST and I'll pay a premium for that! AND I was able to use my Angie's List $25 off coupon!

Pipe to toilet froze and broke after a deep cold spell. I got home at 5:00 and called several places right away. These guys came out and fixed it before I got a call back from anyone else (took from 6:45-7:45). I was worried we wouldn't have water until the next day, since I'm sure the phone was ringing off the hook at every plumber in town The fee for labor was about 75 per half hour, which he said was the higher, off-hours rate. The remainder was the cost of the project itself. The total, 290, seemed well worth it, considering they came in the evening on short notice when they undoubtedly had lots of calls, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Happy to be able to take a hot shower tonight (not to mention brush my teeth and wash my dishes)!
