Seems good....plumber was here within 2 hours. Cleaned drain through roof vent....to allow running the kitchen sink water while augering. Seems to have worked well.

The repair went smoothly. T However, the problem (which was easily fixed) was caused by a much larger issue which was also discovered and fixed.

It went great - Mike is very professional and pleasant and always helpful, answering any questions. In spite of it being a difficult job - spinkler head was between roots, etc. he finished it much quicker than I imagined. I have had other more difficult repairs, and have had the contract for sprinkler system service for more than two years, and have always been satisified with the work. Every time they come I remember the horrible service (not calling back, not coming, postponing the job, etc.) I had for so many years from other companies before I started with Ray Lusk, and wish I had switched sooner. It is great to deal with such a professional company - they never fail to show up, on time, every time, and have even fit me in when I forgot to call for winterizing one time and a big freeze was expected. I have really appreciated their work and so wanted to write them a good review - guess it wasn't necessary because they have so many "A" reviews, but they do deserve it!

Called & scheduled time for a service man to come by. He called 20 minutes prior to his arrival & was very courteous and polite. We will not hesitate to call them again.

A few months later, after we have had no rain in weeks, the area was still wet with an obvious water leak. My wife called him back. He then told her he was not coming because we had a natural spring in that spot and not a water leak. I ended up contacting S & K plumbing to come have a look. They found the leaky junction in about 30 minutes time and had it replaced and done in about a 1.5 hours. My advice is DO NOT USE RAY LUSK! By the way Ray if you are reading this, I WANT MY MONEY BACK YOU CHARGED ME THAT DAY FOR DOING NOTHING!!!!!

Work was done quickly, cleaned up well after. Even had someone available to come out a day earlier than planned, which was great.

. From my first contact with Ray Lusk Plumbing on 9/11/15, everyone was polite, professional and responsive. The guys always called ahead to let me know when they would be coming to the house and honored their commitment. They completed the initial work and talked me through the inspection process and next steps. Once the inspector signed off, they came back to the house as promised to bury the new line. I was not home when this part was completed and was shocked when they called almost 2 weeks later to ask if we were ready for them to hook up the grill. I didn't know they were going to complete that part so it was a pleasant surprise. The 2 week wait was due to delayed shipping of the grill, not due to any scheduling issues with Ray Lusk. I loved every aspect of the service and interaction and would definitely use them again. They are trustworthy, accountable and perform quality work.

The actual job done was good quality. I have no problem with the level of service, although he was about twenty minutes late. The biggest issue was the price. This was a simple job. It took him about ten minutes to unscrew the old line and valve. Then he spent about twenty minutes traveling to the supply store to pick up the part, even though I had clearly stated the part when I made the service reservation. Upon return, he spent about another ten minutes installing the new valve and line. Again, he did a nice job, but $187 for what should have been maybe thirty dollars worth of parts and tweny minutes of labor is past ridiculous. It would be difficult to reccomend the company based on their pricing. He did provide an estimate, so I had the opportunity to turn him down, but since I had taken off work and he was there, I felt obliged to let him do the work. Not very happy with my decision.

The first time I contacted them was through their website, No response. I joined Angie's List, contacted them through your site, set up an appointment. Bill came out at 9:30am, Monday, 9/24/15. When he left, he said between $3500 & $4500 for the work and he would get a written estimate out later that day or Tuesday. I called Bill on Wednesday about the estimate. He said he was very busy & would get the estimate out to later that day or Thursday morning. On Friday, I contacted the office of Ray Lusk Plumbing told them what was happening, was told Bill would get the estimate out. He did. I received an email that stated the job would be between $12,500 & $15,500. When I responded to his email about the MAJOR price increase, he said there was a lot of work to be done. I can understand being busy. Just state from the beginning an estimate will take about a week. I feel that the emailed estimate was a reflection of my contacting the main office. My husband insisted they were the BEST plumbers in the state. From my experience just trying to get an estimate, poor follow through, & 400%-500% price increase between the oral price quote & the "written" estimate I can't agree.

Discovered my 16 year-old water heater was leaking about 9 PM. At 10 PM on the Ray Lusk Plumbing website I sent an email requesting installation of a new water heater, gave my address/phone numbers, etc. and three dates/times I would be available for a service call. They called at 8 AM the next morning and came that day to replace the water heater. I was extremely pleased by their quick response and good service. Alice Rodgers

An outside faucet had been dripping in ever greater amounts. I tried to take it apart and fix it, but it was so old that I couldn't do it myself, so I called Lusk. Got a very quick response. They were here the next day. Two very cordial and professional men who checked the faucet, got it apart and replaced a corroded washer. Took about 20 minutes. I was very happy until they told me the bill was almost $150. Unbelievable. I may (or may not) call them again. If I do, I'll be sure to get to get an estimate in advance... UPDATE: The folks at Lusk were true to their word that they would check into the cost of the service they performed. I didn't hear from them directly, but a full credit for the amount they had charged us showed up on our credit card account. That indicates a sensitivity to their customers that I sincerely respect. I will be calling them again when I need plumbing services...

I called on Monday and they gave me a time on Tuesday between 12 and 2 p.m. The plumber was here at 1 p.m. The young man that came out was very fast fixing the pipe and replacing shower head and figured out how to fix another problem we had with our bathroom plumbing so that it would be cheaper. After initially calling another local company that said they would be out that afternoon and I never heard from again, I was impressed with their being able to give me a window of two hours and showing up. For an hour and half worth of work I thought their price was very fair.

I called at 8am this morning (a Saturday) and their tech "Bill" called me back promptly. I explained my problem and he gave me a very realistic expectation and my options to have him come out today or the regular Mon-Fri schedule. I decided to have him come out today to address the problem expecting the repairs to cost me around $500. He arrived promptly and fixed the problems as quickly as possible. It ended up costing a Hundred dollars less than I was prepared for. Would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

They are fair and honest. They do good work. They are who I call if I have a plumbing issue.

They responded immediately to all of my queries regarding installation. The techs arrived on time for the appointment, and were exceptionally polite and friendly. The work was done quickly, and unobtrusively. The techs cleaned everything at the completion of the work. I would happily recommend Ray Lusk Plumbing to my friends.

I had been given an "estimate" of $746.36 to replace the leaking cast iron on 3/30 after they cleaned my sewer line. I assumed the "estimate" amount would be adjusted depending on how long the work took. Since it only took about an hour, I was surprised to be charged the full "estimate" amount. Update: Ray Lusk contacted me after reading my review and informed me that I would be given credit for two hours labor, $281.61. That's fair enough. I appreciate their willingness to correct their mistake. I will continue to use them in the future.

Clogged sewer line was exposed leak in cast iron main line under house late Saturday afternoon. The technician arrived later than he first stated but otherwise I have no complaints.

Zach and Jesse came back after having to order parts (which didn't surprise me after the nightmare I had with previous plumbing job by another company) and repaired my shower. It looks great, it works great and I am extremely pleased with the work and professionalism of these 2 in their representation of their company. They had to make extra trips to do the before and after repair of the tile (to get to the pipes themselves) and it was easy to contact and make appointments for each trip. They were prompt and I will DEFINITELY use them again. Thanks Ray Lusk Plumbing!!

J.D. arrived promptly and actual work only took a few minutes. He also provided a cost estimate to extend height of shower head, and change 2 handle controls to single handle control when replacing overflow and drain on bathtub re-installation.

Jesse and Walker were the two men sent out to do the job. They were the most professional men that I have ever worked with (and I have worked with a lot on home repair or improvement jobs). Their demeanor and appearance were exceptional. They were polite and patient with me at all times (I had several questions). There was no waste of time and they immediately applied themselves to the job. Jesse appeared to be the one overseeing the job and actually hooking the sink up, although Walker assisted and worked right along with him at all times. Walker replaced 2 shower heads for me that I had just purchased without charge. How amazing is that! So considerate.!! Once the sink was ready to be placed in the counter top, it wouldn't fit (the existing hole too small)?.which was not their fault. I just had an older sink of a different style. I panicked but noticed they knew exactly what to do and called Tony with 'Bath and Kitchen', who came out and had to cut off some of the tile (I had tile counter tops). Tony was every bit as professional and polite using highly skilled techniques to cut out enough tile to allow the sink to fit in. In fact, he was very cautious and did not harm the counter tops. The job he came over to do was exceleant. I would recommend him and his company to anyone?.he got an A+ as well. I have referred Ray Lusk Plumbing to several other people in the neighborhood (based on Angie's List ratings) and all were highly satisfied. So to sum this up, if you want a great group of highly skilled people to work with and that are very reasonable in price, I would strongly suggest hiring this company. If you're lucky, you'll get Jesse and Walker to do the job (no doubt I am sure this company only hires the best and all are just as great!).

Easy to schedule appointment that was not an emergency for following week, called before arriving, on time, gave me an estimate before the repair, and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional, did a great job. Would use for any plumbing issues again.

He called ahead to let me know his arrival time and arrived in time frame scheduled . David was well-trained , efficient and communicated well his process in resolving the problem. He had all necessary tools and repair equipment with him in his truck and completed the repair on the trip.. He checked the next day to be sure fittings were intact and that there was no leak.

First, they were very considerate and polite when setting up an appointment. Not only were they prompt, but even called early to see if they could come out then. That freed up more of the day. When here, they were very polite and quiet, and tidied up the area. They did give me an estimate on some future work that will have to get done, and what would be involved. Fee was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them!

Very prompt, professional, kept good communication with me leading up to the scheduled appointment. I was never left wondering when will someone show. Arrived on time, very professionally in a well marked company van. Was very courteous in our home and very thorough in the explanation of the plumbing issues and corrections all the way through. Very reasonable on pricing. The gentlemen named Aarron, is a class act and a very honest young man. I will specifically ask for him again if I ever need their services again. Heck, he even helped me kill a snake we found in the yard when he went to shut the water off to the house. No charge. LOL! Highly recommend Ray Lusk Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.
